Bradford have now taken all their RH type Olympians back except 31762 which is 'off the road'. Just 10 buses in Cherry Row yard:
30796/815/817/818/834/840. 31762/775/807/808.

Resurrected this thread to note recent happenings now the festival is over.
31761/764 were collected by Bradford this afternoon, and at that time the following vehicles were present!
30796/815/817/818/834/840. 31762/775/807/808 plus a couple more RH types at the top end of the yard.
No sign of 31677, Bradford's oldest Royale so it looks like that has also gone back.
B7TL's 30869/892 were also present.

Are the Olympians going to be taken back to Cherry Row and left there now, until such time as they go for scrap, rather than returning to HX/BD/HD? Pretty much yes, although I was told today that Bradford are taking around four of their 3176x's back which are still required for schools.

The result of the latest ballot shows that drivers have accepted the current pay offer so no further industrial action is anticipated.

In addition to the list I posted a couple of days ago, these Olympians are also in use:
30834, 31765/775/807/808. Think 31774 could be around but I haven't seen it yet.
Further B7TL's are 30866/890/893.
Also various buses from local independents, probably the newest bus I've so far seen on the shuttle is Dewhirst's B9TL's GN07WVA.

As far as is currently known, the Tridents aren't for Leeds. The Scania's that are transferring south are however for Bramley. I suspect these Scania Solars will be some of those that were new to Huddersfield in 2002.

Leeds City Transport service 70 (Bus Station to Primley Park) was a long established route going back to the 50's and even before that it ran from Bus Station to Moortown. It was still running as service 70 into the PTE era as part of the Scott Hall routes 34/35/37/43/70. Afterwards the Primley route became 33 at some point but can't remember dates just now, then it became 71 with later short lived extentions to Bradford. Then it reverted to Leeds to Primley 71 until it changed to the 7 in 2010.
Leeds routes 79 & 80 were routes which came about when LCT took over Farsley Omnibus in 1968 and ran Pudsey - Horsforth/Tinshill via different routes. AEC Swifts were used on these initially but I remember Bramley using Fleetline single decks 1220/1221 (Bramley's only two Fleetlines) regularly on these services from early 1970 until a few months later when all 30 single deck Fleetlines were concentrated at Torre Road.

32444 was mentioned earlier in thread. Just seen in Leeds Boar Lane operating a service 40. Very shiny in standard livery. Was it a Bramley depot allocation previously? Yes and it still is.

AY 1108 on 268 57 or 58 on 253/278/282 1054 on 213 but with the blind next to the door said Morley K.G Ave (seems like it was a rushed and lazy wayto change the blind data with the last changes when 54 was introduced) 1516 & 1930 both out on 281/283 Longstaff/Lyles had Tempo WIL3619 on 205 then swapped with V3JJL at 13:30 for the rest of the day. YT have had 782 having a day on 262. Does that Longstaff changeover happen daily? I'm guessing it does because today MetroCity YJ16DFF was on early but got changed over to P2JJL , also at 13:30.

66741 now in Leeds, not sure if Bramley or Hunslet though. Bramley. 66738-742 should all be there now, or very soon will be.

Other than the Streetcars, does anyone know which buses at the two Leeds depots are being replaced by new deliveries? I'm still seeing some of the batch of V(-ESC) reg Wright bodied Scanias in service. I presumed they would be going. Although I expect PVR has recently gone up slightly with the launch of new First services along routes formerly operated by Yorkshire Tiger. Thanks. B9TL's 36181-190 have departed to Eastern Counties with 36191-202 due to move down there in due course. The ALX400's are slowly migrating away to Halifax and Huddersfield. Don't think the Scanias are going just yet though.

Can anyone confirm wether or not 35217 has had Pulse branding applied to it whilst it's laid up at Bramley depot after it's RTA? Yea it's been back a week or two now Kev, complete with Pulse.

You beat me to it, I was just about to say similar. The constant jibes about LOT is becoming very tiresome. People are entitled to their opinions and with the bread vans lot operate, they leave themselves wide open to Micky taking . A valid opinion maybe - not the repetitive drivel that appears on here almost continuously!

Streetdeck 35237 on 607 in Thornton at 5.50am this morning.Same vehicle then on a 616 in Allerton at 7.40am. I`m assuming that these journeys are on the same board.Didn`t take long for the misallocation planners to strike. Also as stated above 63287 spotted on a 607 in Bradford at 6.45am. Regards Gary Or they simply could be on the start of an X6 board. That could be it because 35237 was on X6 most of the day, or at least all of the time I was in Bradford. Also noticed heritage 37732 on 617, 1st time I've seen it on there. As already mentioned the 607 appeared to be about 90% Streetlite, some of the 695xx batch were on 620.

Cherry Row will be brought into use as an outstation for the vehicles from Tyrers and others during the festival weekend. Also some First Olympians are expected to make an appearance.

There's a couple there I'd not caught up with - another to add is KX08HLU which is 'Nessy'.
Therefore just two to establish - Gizmo & Myrtle. One of these will probably be KX07HDF but not sure what the other could be, I think KX07HDE was only on loan and hasn't been seen for a while. Of course one of those names could be on the Merc minibus.
