I was in Halifax on Easter Monday afternoon. The 521/22/23 routes just used ordinary First stock rather than B7RLEs or Streetlites with Red Arrow colouring added. I therefore made do without a ride for now.

I don't think Bradford do staff changeovers anywhere other than the city centre do they?
Leeds however do changeovers all over the place.

If they did do changeovers there is would have to be services out of Bradford as inboard services would require drivers to cross a dual carriageway to get to/from any possible changeover point but personally I think all changeovers are done at the Interchange or other City Centre timing points

Presumably all changeovers are at the Interchange given they run a staff bus?

Are there any others Leeds' changeovers are city centre, Bramley & Hunslet? The Bramley ones are spread all over though, Bramley Town End, Bramley Shopping Centre, Stanningley Road, Cockshott Lane, Gamble Hill, Pudsey Road/Henconner Lane and Ring Road Farnley.

Sometimes I get a very subtle hint coming across that certain folk are dissatisfied with the spread of FWY's new vehicle allocations between its depots. Just a slight feeling I get..,
Would new Streetdecks be diverted from elsewhere as it seems strange that a new batch of previously unexpected vehicles would appear.

Could first leeds be takin over the leeds - bradford part?

if this is all true, then I'd be guessing the X84 as the current fleet don't have any obvious branding like with First's other high quality routes across the UK as many are all in that blue livery which looks quite nice.

An ex colleague of mine from Arriva Yorkshire, has been over in Northern Ireland today, and went round to Wrights, and has seen some Streetdecks in an Express livery think similar to the ones in Sheffield.

The allocations are scrupulously fair! Aherm.

I'm very surprised the first we hear about a new order is in Metro Transport News, I'm a bit suspicious therefore.
Have First actually announced an order for this year or are they just keeping it all under wraps?
I don't see the point in everyone saying "Maybe they are for [insert every route First operate]"

I don't see the point in everyone saying "Maybe they are for [insert every route First operate]" No the official announcement hasn't been issued yet, last year it was May when it was released. However, the 2015-16 order only comprised 65 Streetdecks and these were delivered from Aug to Dec 2015 as 35103-35167. New Streetdeck deliveries from 35168 have resumed this month to Leicester and Eastern Counties so these appear to be the first of the as yet unannounced 2016 order, indeed I think some folk were suprised when 35168 upwards started to appear so I suppose the West Yorks order is feasible. In other news I'm reliably informed that some or all of the 37021-35 Geminis that went to South Yorkshire are returning to West Yorkshire this year. Not sure where to yet and I use the word reliably with the caveat that this is subject to the usual First policy of last minute changes of plan

Of course the Olympians need to be replaced, so I'm expecting cascades as well as new buses this year. Gemini's from SY sound better than the other opinion, which would be ALX400s
