I hope they only use the Royal's due for disposal on it as I'd hate to think what I'm going to be sat on come the day after! Seen the mess made in the train station and surrounding streets, they should pressure hose everyone down before being allowed to board the buses!

I've heard it will be partially in house and partially sub contracted to Moving People of Accrington.
Geldards ran it for many years but usually subcontracted to all the other local operators of school deckers J&B, Hunters etc

Cherry Row will be brought into use as an outstation for the vehicles from Tyrers and others during the festival weekend. Also some First Olympians are expected to make an appearance.

Understand that First Leeds drivers are not been used due to the current overtime ban which is still in place.

The ban only happens on weeks when they have striked. So that drivers can not recooperate lost earnings. Didn't know if that stance had changed after the recent ballot. What with 82% of drivers now supporting the union there's definitely a chance of further walk outs which may effect that bank holiday weekend.

So that drivers can not recooperate lost earnings. As the dispute is ongoing (and I assume the drivers are currently 'working to rule', which may include an 'overtime working ban'), then the company are within their rights to not permit overtime if they so wish, regardless of whether there has been a strike that week or not. Also they are not obliged to allow drivers to deviate from their published rotas, so can decline rest day and duty swaps, special requests, lieu days etc.

There is only a ban on overtime during weeks that include a strike. Nothing else has deviated? Are you just trying to make your self look like you know everything with your pointless comment?

Having been involved in Industrial Disputes, from both sides of the fence (driver & supervisor), this is what can happen. Whilst in dispute any agreements made between drivers and management are 'null and void'. When Stagecoach Yorkshire went out on strike, drivers were not allowed to work days off, work overtime, swap duties, swap days off etc. If any driver said they weren't sure of a route (this being soon after the merging of Shafton & Barnsley depots), they were told to sit in the canteen without pay, as all drivers had been given adequate time to learn routes, on pay, on their days off prior to the industrial action taking place.

In addition to the list I posted a couple of days ago, these Olympians are also in use:
30834, 31765/775/807/808. Think 31774 could be around but I haven't seen it yet.
Further B7TL's are 30866/890/893.
Also various buses from local independents, probably the newest bus I've so far seen on the shuttle is Dewhirst's B9TL's GN07WVA.

They had two Palatine bodied ones laid up at Halifax. Wonder if they are being used?

Meanwhile typical absolute chaos on timekeeping of scheduled services in the area - yesterday for example the 1050 770 from Leeds was 40 minutes late arriving in Harrogate.
