I have heard that they are definately starting a service to Southowram starting from the 24th October & Haven't heard much recently about the 546 but the last I heard something was that it was going to Centrebus.
Infact on 2nd thought's, a TJ Walsh driver lives up Warley.....

Does that mean that TLC pick up the remaining 653 journeys and/or Centrebus gets the 650 and 652 even though they're sunday only

I think we all know what type of changes this month's are going to be.
I imagine First will be wanting to 'bury bad news' as it will all be roped in with the coverage of the government spending review.
I also imagine this is why Changing Times seems a bit late to appear, as Metro will be rapidly trying to mitigate some holes in the network at the 11th hour.

Aren't they supposed to register a cancellation before they cancel it, rather than 15 months afterwards?

Dalesbus winter timetable now available via dalesbus website. Services mostly unchanged from the end of the Summer period in October except that the 800 stops for the winter, the 825 is extended into the winter period running one Sunday a month, 874 runs every Sunday twice each way only (as last winter) with the 870 usual connection, the X52 runs once a month and the 883/4 runs beyond Skipton to Malham one day each month only (as last winter) Unusually, this timetable also mentions journeys on the 137 and 138 up Ripon, I suppose it's because Metro dales timetables are the main timetable distributed in the dales, if you go to places like Hawes and Settle their the only timetable available (except at bus stops and if you can get hold of a NYCC timetable booklet)

Assuming the 539 is Centrebus taking over the Saturday service from First?

A bit more detail for the Halifax fans - it does appear that Centrebus will be taking over the HJC routes 28/31/34/36 to the same timetable - so some journeys will terminate at Albert Rd depot! There are some reductions in early morning / evening journeys on some routes - but the half hourly frequencies on the main routes - 503/576 etc appear to have been maintained. Of more interest however, is the 357 route over in Huddersfield which seem to promote a good deal of comment on bus v car. Apparantly, the route is being retained - but operated by? - You will not find this one easy (I know I tease a little, but it is only harmless fun!)

JRT of Birkby will run the 357. Service will link Hudds - Quarmby - Crosland Road - Laund Road. Huddersfield Royal Infirmary will be incorporated into the route but I don't know the precise route diagram yet.

The booklet has now appeared on the Metro website and can be viewed here: www.wymetro.com/NR/rdonlyres/C5306F80-9775-4B54-BF91-D8E4CA4A29B7/0/CT55_infoleaflet.pdfFrom looking at the booklet, the 18/18A changes in Leeds to the 18/19/19A means that Leeds-Ireland Wood/Tinshill section gets a reduced frequency to every 20 minutes. The 18 follows the current 18 route between Boar Lane and Colton. The 19/19A is the current 18A route between Boar Lane and Garforth. The 19 operates two buses an hour to Ireland Wood and the 19A runs one bus an hour to Tinshill. The 19 covers parts of the 18 route on evenings and Sundays. The 91A is getting withdrawn and the 91 is running half hourly between Halton Moor and Pudsey previous to changes made in January 2009.

So first have gone from having 3 buses per hour serving silk mill way, to 1, and none in the evenings. way to go first. Would imagine this is because they want more to use the 96?
