Huddersfield Bus had CentreBus Dart 517 working the 262 to Dewsbury while Olympus 904 was working the 262 to Upper Heaton.

I think 205 and 207 are currently parked up at the Waterloo depot. I say think as it might have been 206 with Huddersfield Bus branding applied. I was unable to fully ID the bus. Yeah for 205,6,7 read 905,6,7. Got a little carried away there sorry, but 907 is in fact 904. Am not doing well at all. But while am here, it seems that the CentreBus branded Darts are still in use at Huddersfield. Are these to stay or are they moving back South at some point? David.c

I've seen 905 on the 231/2, the short working of the 262 to Upper Heaton and on a few of the 80 set of routes. I've only seen 906 working the 737 and 757 to Leeds Bradford Airport though it does appear at the Waterloo depot from time to time.

But with only three here, and even then only two currently in service, it will be a challenge to see them in service unless you are around on the right route for a long period of time. I was pure luck that I managed to travel on 905 on the 232 (as shown in my picture that G547VB has linked to) on what must have been one of its first days in service with Hudd Bus.

The 3rd East Lancs Olympus for Huddersfield Bus has arrived today in the form of YN07LHT. Its currently parked at the depot with out fleet numbers or fleet branding.
Are Hudd Bus still down for getting just three of these or are there more to come?

The temporary CentreBus Darts used in Halifax are now working off Waterloo depot. Dart 517 has been noted working the 262 to Dewsbury as well as the 80 set of routes, while both Marshall Darts have been noted on the 242 and 262 routes.

I travelled on the 737 and 757 services yesterday from Bradford to the Airport then on to Leeds. The Scania Omnicitys are really nice buses with very little interior noise from the engine and few rattles and squeaks. The interior is a little warn but after 6-7 years service elsewhere that's too be expected. The Olympus on the 757 (906) was, as mentioned already, bad internally with a load of rattles and badly fitting parts.
Another thing that I noticed with both these services is the amount of slack in the timetable. Both journeys were slow, the 757 was painstakingly slow with the bus barely hitting 30mph in a 40mph zone, plus a lot of the journeys were spent at bus stops waiting for time. Are the timings done to allow for peak time traffic or just badly done for the howl day?
One final thing has been a couple of comments Ive over heard, on both the 435 and 757, made by passengers after getting on the bus. On both occasions they were trying to work out who's bus it was and who was now operating the service. The two teenagers on the 435 resorted to looking at the ticket to get the operator while the people on the 757 were uncertain as to whether the bus was still a First bus or not.

Well the first full day of the weekday timetable changes. Olympus 905 has been out on the 231/2 Wakefield route. davidsnonrailwaypics.fotopic.net/p64495828.htmlA very nice bus though it is a little an the rattly side over the rough roads of the route. The Holmfirth-Wakefield route is booked for Plaxton Centros. The service I traveled on had 722. The only problem with the service is an issue regarding driver knowledge of the route, the slight detour we took does high light a lack of route training. David.c

Passing the depot this afternoon just after 16:00 and noticed that one of the Silver Scanias has gained branding for the 757 airport service. Didn't see it long enough to see how much branding it carries.

A third Scania OmniCity to arrive at the Hudd Bus Depot is YN03UWP. When are these due to enter service?
There was a nice line up of recent arrivals at the depot when I visited earlier. Solo MX55WCW (381), Olympus YN07LHZ (906), Solos MX03YDG (340) & MX04VMC (380).

There's a Silver Scania Omnicity parked up at the Hudd Bus depot at Waterloo this afternoon. Unable to ID as it was parked with other buses in front blocking the numberplate.

Theres a freshly painted Optare Solo parked at the Hudd Bus Depot today. Its in CentreBus livery but without any branding. Its hard to ID due to its position close to the bins at the side of the building. A freind says it could possable be MX55WCW but not 100% sure.

Or one of the (Renault Masters?) What they used to use on the Ryburn Taxi Bus? Possibly, couldn't see too well.I only saw the side of it because the scania endurance was covering front of it and the dominator covering back. It is a Renault Master. It appeared earlier this week but hasn't moved from its corner since (that I know of). David.c

I was going to post this last night but forgot to do so. There was a Stringers liveried Optare Solo parked at the back of the Hudd Bus Depot at Waterloo yesterday morning. There for maintenance or another addition to the fleet?

K-Line Cadet YJ07JVL was the bus involved in the Huddersfield incident. I was walking from uni to the bus station when the bus departed the scene.
Hope all involved are ok.

A few years ago Preston Bus had a number of demonstrators and hire buses in their fleet. All gained fleet numbers and Preston Bus lettering but non of them stayed more a few weeks.
Also in having the K-Line sticker on the front of the Pulsar it does make it easier to identify who its working for since First work the same route with similar looking buses.

A sign of things come. Optare Tempo demonstrator YJ59NNZ was parked up at the Huddersfield Bus depot in Waterloo this afternoon, had left (possibly to Ellend) by around 4. davidsnonrailwaypics.fotopic.net/p63629531.htmlI would guess its here for driver training. David.c

A few unusual workings from Huddersfield Bus and K-Line today.
K-Line Solo working the 82 to Denby Dale, unable to show destination so had an A4 peace of paper in the window.
Huddersfield Bus Solo 803, YJ09MJO, working the 83 to Denby Dale while East Lancs Sprite 537, V507EFR, working the 341 to Stocksmoor.
