Do we know if the 'spare' bus (which is regularly seen on other routes) and the two drafted in from Lancashire (one of which is currently black) are to be refurbished similarly? 1814 has already been re-registered OIG1814 so I am assuming this will be getting done although whether it will stay as a spare and get done in normal livery I don't know. I tend to think 1823/5 won't be getting done but again this is just my guess. Just to confirm 1814 has been refurbished and now finally joins it's sisters in wearing Shuttle branding.

I know there's probably lots of interworking going on today but this is a list of the First Leeds buses I've photographed on First Bradford routes today.
614 - 69340,44,47 617 - 69269 620 - 69349 626 - 37663,65 ironic that this is the route with deckers allocated since the bus is sitting out of service in Shipley for half an hour due to the flooding at Baildon Bridge. 640 - 69343 641 - 69337
I'm sure someone will provide a more comprehensive list later in the day, personally I couldn't face trogging into Bradford City Centre. From what I could tell the loadings were reasonably good to say this is the first year of Boxing Day buses in Bradford.

Think they should maybe take their own photos instead of nicking them from my Flickr photostream. ?

Alex Hornby ( alextransdev) just said 'All will be revealed soon' to someone on Twitter. Being tight lipped as usual! That twitter comment screams service improvements or new route brand to me! He is a tease!

Aha!! I called it right then.
Looking forward to seeing Gemini's in K&D green and blue unless they try another new route brand for the 760.

Just to complete the set, 37506 is in service in Bradford so that's 37500 to 37507 all in service. I posted a photo of 37505 on Facebook and one of the comments was that Bradford did not like 30572 and 30576. I don't know if these came and were rejected, never travelled, or arrived and are just disliked but regardless I haven't seen them around yet so it's possible they may not come to Bradford at all.

Do you know if 778/9 are still in barbie, or olympia ?. Thanks. 31778 is in Olympia and 31779 is barbie. 31779 was at HP for painting about a week ago but was sent back to HX untouched because I think HX wanted another B7TL doing in Zest livery. Halifax should be getting 31776-780. These were pencilled in for Bradford but looks like plans (as usual)have changed. It was reported on Facebook that 31780 left Sheffield for Halifax at the same time as 31778/9 but whether it made it is another story completely.

Why is such a big deal been made over these b9s? Crap plastic in my opinion.. Because some people actually like to keep records of what's happening! May I bounce the question back to you and ask "why was such a big deal being made over the 190xx's earlier in the thread? Now that's a question that should really have included the word 'crap'!. Thank you, yes the name of the thread is Fleet Changes and these buses have moved from South Yorkshire to Bradford so is much more appropriate than talk of buses which have been in Bramley for some time now. If First Bradford put a milk float into service on the X6 I would report it and for what it's worth I think a Gemini/B9TL is a much more solid bus than an E40D or ALX400, at least from a passengers point of view.

37505 is in Bradford now and I'm pretty sure I saw 37501 on the 640 yesterday. 37501 is confirmed, also add 37504 to the list. Can also confirm that 37500 has understandably had it's name removed as it had no real relevance to it's new home.

These are the ones with the Orange front which Joe Public will be saying oh its a Tiger bus until the driver turns them away because they have the wrong Day Ticket. I wonder how First would react if Tiger used some light grey colour branding scheme to the front of its buses Lets hope that none of them stray onto routes where Yorkshire Tiger are running their ex Arriva London Gemini Pulsars on completing services on the same day! I thought the whole point of the DDA rules on destination displays was so that people could easily see where a bus was going, I must have missed the legislation which says every bus must be a separate colour, how on earth did we all manage in the old days when PTE/NBC buses were all the same colour. ?

That would be an interesting development, maybe a further escalation in the whole Transdev/Connexions battle. I'm surprised no one is taking a punt at restoring Bradford to Otley links again, I would imagine Broadway would appeal to the folks of Otley although I suppose the same arguments arising in the thread about the 711 route and White Rose/Broadway/Trinity would apply here too.

Isn't the A60 generally always a single deck on an afternoon? It always has been whenever I've seen it? Passes my house and it's been double deck since I went to school at Beckfoot 30 years ago, when it was the 960. It's possibly the first time I've seen it this school year though so it may have been since the summer. I would imagine it's all that's needed now though as the popularity of Beckfoot means that East Shipley to Greengates children cannot get into the school unless they already have siblings there.

First Bradford school service A60 between Beckfoot School and Greengates was in the hands of B7L 60908 this afternoon, I'm usually at work at this time but this is the first time I've seen this being operated by a single decker. Looks like Olympian withdrawals are starting to take effect. Can't think of a better use for the B7L's, hope they all move to schools then I won't have to suffer them anymore!

I have just seen Volvo B9TL 37507 on service 576 in Bradford Interchange today. This is one of 10 due from Doncaster. Good stuff that's the only one of Doncaster's Geminis that I've not yet managed to photograph, I needn't have wasted time travelling to Donny so much!!

Just noticed the 670 and 675 interwork since the october changes. Thank you, I was certain the 675 had to interwork with something but I hadn't had time to check, thought the 670 was a likely candidate.

In all the time since the 612 was changed to run Bradford to Shipley only I have never a seen a day like today, no less than four deckers with 30910,11 & 13 and 37365, two is very rare and I've never even seen three before today. Somehow I've also missed one so it could be five. Also on rail replacement work for the last two weeks a Bakers Dolphin liveried coach has been in operation. Now there is a lot of dead mileage between Weston-super-Mare and West Yorkshire so I assume this has moved on to a local operator. This and the fact that it has reverted to it's original reg of FN02VCK. Does anyone know who this coach is now with as I didn't get a chance to check it's legal lettering? www.flickr.com/photos/35759580@N03/22059485028/in/dateposted-public/

I think Yorkshire Tiger and TJ Walsh should paint First livery on the front of their buses on the Elland/Illingworth routes. Play 'em at their own game and continue to bamboozle their customers queuing with Operator specific tickets To be fair to First, the 503 was the orange line long before Yorkshire Tiger even existed and before Centrebus even came to Halifax. As for Illingworth there really is no comparison between First's and TJ Walsh buses and on the couple of occasions I have taken photo's there passengers were having no trouble stepping away from the stop when a TJ Walsh bus appeared on the horizon in favour of waiting for their First Halifax ride.

Thinking back, I think it was the extension from Greengates to Shipley what was commercial and not the whole bit from Pudsey to Shipley. Yes I remember Dwarfr explaining that Centrebus were looking for something to do with a bus for half an hour instead of having it sat waiting at Greengates before it's return journey.

I didn't want to start a new thread for this even though 37674 has it's own thread. I'm going to have a few hours to kill in Ilkley or Otley this Saturday (10/10). If someone could confirm the route allocation or even better details of the board for 37675 I'd be really grateful. I'll drop the allocator at Hunslet a message, see what he can do for you. I don't know if it was down to you but 37675 turned up in Ilkley on the X84 within an hour of me arriving so if it was thanks, if it wasn't, you can still take the credit anyway. It looks even better in person bathed in early autumn sunshine, photo now attached below. www.flickr.com/photos/35759580@N03/22061022676/in/dateposted-public/
