From Alex Hornby's Twitter, it looks like the Shuttle 662 buses are going through a refurbishment.
Also seems to involve them receiving Eclipse 2 style front ends.

There was me thinking Keighley might get new buses for the highest profile route like pretty much everywhere else...should have known better!

Makes you wonder if they will carry on the cheap (we ok no so cheaper) refurbs for high profile services like Yorkshire Coastliner......... It's a shame that there isn't a completion on the East Coast corridor as it could get interesting if it did! Shame First's X64 didn't lift but that's diverting the point!

I can't imagine the new MD being impressed by a flagship route like Coastliner having two different liveries on the go, and having had so for many years.

1801 back from refurb, two tone blue livery with eclipse 2 front, new fabric seats with fancy blue lights between them. Also have some fancy cloud deco on the roof. Probably in time for open day this weekend.

Surprised they got rid of the leather seats when other routes have had them introduced since the 662 was first 'Shuttle-ised' in 2005.

Second of many no doubt www.flickr.com/photos/35759580@N03/17088187360/I notice on the Keighley depot fleet list available at the depot today that 1801's registration number is missing, assume this means they are to be reregistered to hide their age in the same way as Harrogate's refurbished Gemini's have been.

Having seen the refurbed bus at Keighley depot yesterday, I'm impressed, though a little surprised at the blue colour - it does tie in with the USB charging points on board which glow blue.

You'd think they were new spec buses. Transdev have done a great job on the refurb.

Well fabric seats with leather head rests was the spec used on most recent trentbarton new buses, which also replaced the previous new bus spec of all leather seats, so I think the MD has brought the idea with him.

The livery is not entirely dissimilar to Arriva Sapphire livery. Next they could call The Shuttle another Grand Yorkshire Connection!
I think the seat moquette is much the same as on the refurbished Presidents.

1807 not refurbished yet, but now registered THZ1807. I was over there today to photo the refurbs and also noticed quite a few unrefurbished ones already re-registered: 1805/6 = JRZ1805/6 1808 not seen 1809/10 still carrying their 05 plates 1811 = THZ1811 1812 = OIG1812 1813 = THZ1813
