Transdev Flyer Versa Y9 TDV was spotted in Pudsey Bus Station today displaying '23 Pudsey'.
Strange.

Can anybody explain what this is all about? M-T times are exactly the same as the FO ones? Its as call lane is closed on friday nights so takes a slightly different route out of leeds city centre so serves different stops That explains it thanks, but it would be nice if the reason was explained on the timetable. Maybe I just demand too much from the bus network?

I love living on the 60 route. I know that buses after 7pm are at :40 past the hour, which means I know exactly when to leave the pub. If I was to live on the 51/52 route, it would be as follows: 19:15 19:30 19:56 20:16 20:51 21:16 22:06 22:26 23:10. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. You've got to laugh. A timetable seemingly created for their own operational convenience rather than the needs and wants of the passenger. Do they interwork with any other route in Leeds? Surely after 19:30 they could run a simple half hourly frequency from Leeds using 2 buses with just extended layover in Morley as the journey times reduce Appears to interwork with the 38/39, which is a whole new level of irony!

Can't imagine what my 586 will be as it is down on VOSA. Every 1 hour and 37 and ¾ every other day except Tuesdays and on a full moon that falls on Friday the 14th. And that timetable was created by a mixture of AI and the astrologist and psychic they employed to work in the timetabling office. I'm sure there'll be an article about their new cutting-edge systems in 'RouteOne' or 'Coach and Bus Weekly' shortly.

So, these new Wright electric buses won't have heating fitted as the York ones haven't so assuming the Leeds ones will be the same. Air conditioning or even cooling won't be fitted either. Bit strange considering the E10s have proper A/C / heaters on them I was on a Go North East Yutong E10 the other day and it was so cozy and warm. Almost didn't want to get off again.

But I was under the impression that the 51/52 have always run via the P&R site upon request after whatever time the PR1 stops operating. I've not seen anything about that. There's certainly nothing on the Metro or First online info about the Park and Ride. Sound tricky to arrange on the way in, too. They may not do it anymore but there always used to be a note at the bottom of the timetable stating that they would upon request.

Don't talk wet. It would leave Elland Road without an evening service (past the park and ride operating hours) and no weekend service. What, to save maybe 2 minutes if you're lucky? Based on the information I've seen if it is going to be routing via the Park & Ride site after the PR1 hours then surely it wouldn't go back on itself just to do the M621 - especially given the traffic issues on Elland Rd are primarily during hours of PR1 operation But I was under the impression that the 51/52 have always run via the P&R site upon request after whatever time the PR1 stops operating.

Always squeaky bum time for me when the 308 appears on a VOSA change. Maybe the 307 will be the Holmfirth workings. As long as it's not a cancellation. Lol.

Wouldn't surprise me if the 51 and 52 were re-routed via the M621 at Junction 1 as it's only penny numbers what catch it on Elland Road, the busiest stop on that section being Top Moor Side which to be fair has the 55, 65 and 75 and is only served by the 51 and 52 in one direction. You can be on a peak hour bus around 8am to see just 3 people catch it at the West Stand Ticket Office and another couple catch it at the next stop with hardly any catching it at the footbridge stop further up. This move would improve timings on the 51/2, and would make the 55 more viable as that's only busy around Holbeck. Those wanting the 2 stops around the stadium could easily walk round to the Park and Ride which is also close to Elland Road Industrial Estate. Interesting, as everytime I get the bus into town from outside Elland Road, there are people getting on at both stops. No matter what time of day!

I wonder if this is a return of the X14, or just the 14 still listed as X14 (14)?

Heard today that due to the problems, the Interchange is likely to be demolished. I honestly wouldn't be surprised. I'd even be fearful to ride a bus on the main carriageway now in case we suddenly ended up in the car park below.

First York Low Height Streetdeck 35932 has been working out of Hunslet today.
It is heading down to First Potteries at some point.

After reading a few comments on Facebook from people who used to work in the bingo hall below the interchange, I reckon it's something far more serious than just a bit of wind and rain damage to the roof.
Ex-bingo staff describing how parts of the ceiling used to collapse regularly, and even how a car got smashed up from falling debris in the car park.
Of course, take everything on Facebook with a pinch of salt, but I am leaning towards thinking it may be a demolition job.

Latest info ,X1, Hx Elland bridge , Huddersfield Road (Old Ainleys) Edgerton Hudds bus stn every 15 mins . (basically old X37 BUT EVERY STOP) 501 , every 15 mins including late eve, early morning and Sundays . 542 Hx to Norton Tower , 543 Hx TO Siddal , route split. 549 every 30 mins HX To Hudd (operated by Huddersfield depot) 548 restored to every 30 mins . Some fairly major changes to the Calder Valley also, but i would rather leave that for the moment . Is this to do with the planned electrification of Todmorden outstation or something different entirely?

The Solo (0)406 and physically seen by me dropping off and parked up. Penfold We're not to take Solo's into Leeds Bus Station What do passengers waiting for these solo-operated journeys in the bus station do when the journey starts from elsewhere without them knowing?

This is interesting. I may be wrong, but, I was always under the impression that in order to run a public bus service using West Yorkshire Metro bus stops and facilities you had to accept Metro products. Now, I can't imagine that this will affect the passenger numbers too much as we all learned in school that 0% of 0 is '0'. Attachments:

Best spot of the day: a 900 Glasgow - Edinburgh Plaxton Panorama in Leeds Bus Station working a megabus service.

This 'AI timetabling' is pathetic. But what else would you expect from the geniuses in First management!
I was looking at the 49 timetable on Eastgate towards Bramley last week and I honestly couldn't believe what I was seeing. The times are all over the show.

Looking forward to the Kites arriving. It will hopefully renew my interest in bus photography; which has been none existent for about 6 months. When can expect to see them hitting the roads? They are already out in York I meant the Leeds ones.
