Well, that's all right for the shuttle, but another rubbish nonsense for the 67. Again, information about the stops near town (though doubtful whether the City Park stops will be operational this month). BUT AGAIN, no information about routing to/from town!! In fairness that does give the full picture for the 67. The only change is replacement of S3 with the new stops at Nelson Street and City Park.

Your forgetting that the stop outside the sun pub replaced the former stop opposite sunwin house when sunbridge road inbound was shut - but it’s only ever been a temporary stop. Despite being convenient to alight at fairly near the old stop I fear that temp stop will disappear

So disappointed with today. Thought you'd be prepared. Stop on Well Street completely unsigned. The A2 sailed right past me. Customer Helpers pretty useless, just referred to leaflet, didn't know the area at all. Stop Z unready and quite dangerous. All stops should be clearly labelled with letters corresponding to the leaflet. Cameras to catch motorists cutting through and adding to the carnage will be good too. Epic fail here.

615 to Bradford.
Stop G bottom of Thornton Road is underneath roadworks, so not in use. Stop next to City Park is now a temporary stop a bit further on from the map location and, accessible to Thornton Road services, so made him stop....
615 from Bradford
The traditional "Odeon" stop is not in use, and neither is its temporary replacement. The next one is also under roadwork, but it does have a temporary replacement a bit further out.

They’ve now done a full map of all the bus stops and which buses stop where www.wymetro.com/media/zvdjkahs/bradford_wtcyb_new.pdfThey’ve introduced further confusion, as for one the 576 is now shown as Hall Ings H11, whereas on the previous map it was Nelson Street N1 If this is now true Hall Ings H11 would have 28 departures per hour Nelson Street N1 would have 19 per hour Nelson Street N2 has 17 per hour Bridge Street B1 has 29 per hour Little Germany Z has 30 per hour Amazing that the entire interchange and all the services that didn’t used to serve it, have been consolidated onto just 5 stops* * excluding TLC 635, 643/4, 653, 656 & 660

My 615 wouldn’t stop at the temp bus stop for city park as they said they hold up all the traffic (understandable), so on Thornton road can’t get off or on near town due to roadworks and can’t get off or on at city park either. So have to get off at Nelson street and walk back. Utter shambles. Nelson street chaotic due to so many buses on it. Especially in this bad weather with only a couple of shelters and no facilities. And the walk to anywhere in the constant roadworks across town is awful. I won’t be in a rush to visit Bradford centre until we get our Interchange back!

It is very bad in poor weather like today with 40 or so people waiting at one stop. Bradford and WYCA do not care about bus users, they just want to control buses to get their salaries boosted massively.

Thornton Road services were back on the Barry Street diversion this afternoon because of the chaos. The original plan for the new layout was for the bus ‘hubs’ to be terminus points on the edge of the city. Quite why they decided to bunch almost everything at four stops around the interchange I don’t know. Ridiculous.

Some routes have a different stop pattern on the way to Bradford — depending on whether they are terminating at Bradford or through services beyond Bradford...
612, 613, 614, 640, 641, 645, 686, 687, 688.

If that was the plan for all buses to terminate on edge then I wouldn’t have supported it. I use a bus to connect with a train from Interchange station, I’d never have wanted my bus to terminate at the top of Sunbridge road at Goitside area or city park as it makes the whole commute longer and less convenient and is hardly making public transport more attractive. The fact that Interchange is still shut just makes things worse. It’s about time they authorised repairs/rebuild and get on with it so least we have the main bus station back rather than months of surveys and no actual progress on anything.

I agree that terminating on the edge isn’t great but I certainly remember reading something to that effect when the plans were published, about making journeys shorter and more reliable. It’s happened with a few services in Leeds in recent years for reliability reasons but serving more of the city centre is certainly better for passengers.

If nothing is using Nelson Street N3, why move the Coach Departures to outside New College/Police Station on the other part of Nelson Street?

If nothing is using Nelson Street N3, why move the Coach Departures to outside New College/Police Station on the other part of Nelson Street? Because it’s not currently possible to travel southbound on Nelson Street to access stop N3 as the road layout is still under construction I had a quick look at what was going on on Nelson Street today. Even though there is supposed to be two stops N1 and N2, in reality it’s just one line of buses and one group of passengers milling around on the pavement. Neither stop has any sort of identification I noticed that some buses are actually picking up twice, once at the back of the queue, and then when they depart, other people are then flagging it down again when it gets near the actual shelter The actual city centre with all the roads closed feels very strange, almost like there is an event on like the Tour de Yorkshire, and the roads have been temporarily closed

Bradford Clowncil and Metro really couldn't organise a p1ss up in a brewery.
I get it the Clowncil who have stubbornly pressed ahead with the road closures despite the Interchange being shut, but Metro's publicity has been shockingly bad.
I mean, how stupid do you have to be to move dozens of bus routes (many operating multiple times per hour) onto just half a dozen or so stops, force different routings and stopping patterns depending on the bus's end destination, ruin connections between routes and then (apparently) not give the body responsible for publicising this stuff the relevant details until just a few days beforehand (and then for it to be partly wrong because some work isn't finished this some stops can't be accessed?
It's unbelievable.

Rather than just putting up those general lists everywhere, there should have been service and stop specific posters made up, both for the old stops and the new stops, in a big font with arrows pointing to the new location
The arrangements are a shambles, but they could have at least got the publicity right. I still think it’s part of a policy to degrade everything so much they can get a quick win when franchising comes in by just doing everything they always used to do.
I also can’t understand why the Nelson Street bus stops still look as temporary as they did when they were hastily installed in January. Also by now they could actually have some buses using Nelson Street Car Park as an actual departure point meaning they wouldn’t have to do a 360 degree loop, all you need is a curb and some tarmac slapping down.

Seems odd to have relettered all the stops, so they're no longer unique.

Keighley and District has now put a better stop guide on Twitter and their website, by editing an earlier entry I think.
theSHUTTLE & DalesBus 864
These routes will now start from Bridge Street near Bradford Interchange. We will be changing our route to run closer to Broadway, and also serve Manor Row - our current route on Sunbridge Road will close meaning we can’t reach Westgate either. Our new stops are:
Manor Row – drop off from Keighley stop B, pick up to Keighley stop A – these stops are on Manor Row near Upper Piccadilly Forster Square – drop off at K, pick up at J - these stops are by the pedestrian entrance to Forster Square station on Manor Row Cheapside – drop off at M, pick up at L – pick up stop is on Cheapside opposite the Midland, drop off is round the corner on Lower Kirkgate Cathedral – drop off at S pick up at N – these stops are on Church Bank and are convenient for Broadway Little Germany – drop off at V pick up at U these are on Well Street just north of Leeds Road. Bridge Street B1. On the bridge outside the Interchange.
the 67
This will now start from Nelson Street near Bradford Interchange. We will be changing our route as Sunbridge Road will close meaning we can’t reach Westgate either. Our new stops are:
City Park – drop of from Keighley stop B pick up at Stop A these stops are by the Alhambra Theatre Nelson Street N2

Bradford's services at the moment feel very much like a large chunk of the ones in Manchester, one of my least favourite places to catch a bus. Millions of buses at one stop and poor hard to read information at bus stops with little to no guide as to where to catch your buses.

I still find Manchester to be easier to be fair, but would be more useful to run more buses from Shudehill, half of the Interchange has stands with one bus an hour. They should send 163 and 135 into their considering how services that run similar routes to them such as 17, 18, 93, 97 and 98 run from there.

Notice at Leeds Bus Stn said X6 would terminate on Hall Ings - but as we know it doesn’t and didn’t - it stops on Bridge St. Getting off, passengers were asking ‘Does it leave from here?’. The driver knew but the passengers didn’t. It was lunchtime so not too many people about, but the buses all q’d up for the one stop. Someone said the junction atop Bridge St was gridlocked at 5pm yesterday.

Was in Bradford today for the first time since the changes came in to effect. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting based on what I'd read, and it was late afternoon so was fairly busy. The only issue I had was when boarding a bus on Bridge Street, the service I wanted was fifth in the row, and the driver didn't give much time for those waiting in the shelter to walk down to board. The lack of right turn from Well Street in to Hall Ings seems an odd move given the number of buses which now need to loop round various streets.
