Also, Bustimes confirms that 607 is rerouted via Thornton Road instead of City Road. Wow. Yes, I mentioned earlier. Ah I thought there was some thought it might be a mistake with the information. Removing service from City Road after decades seems a shame.

Anyone know the city centre routes of the A2 and A3?

I know. They've probably decided to abandon the route following the nightmare inbound routing via Barry Street. Get in touch with First. If so, the 607 is back to the 1980s route out of the city from when I was a little kid. It would be a shame for City Road to lose service, though. I was thinking that the Thornton route would turn round at the bottom of Sunbridge Road (the old terminus of the 16 trolleybus) Alternatively: City Road, Westgate, and John St, then down Cheapside to serve the Broadway area that way. It does seem bizarre to abandon the route completely. Historically, only the 16 Allerton trolleybus went along Sunbridge Road.

Anyone know the city centre routes of the A2 and A3? The Transdev routes have released 662 Shuttle to run via Vicar Ln, Well St, Cheapside & Manor Row. I'm presuming that the Westgate stop is no longer served. A2 from Bridge St top .B1 then Vicar Ln, Well St, Bolton Road bottom, then via Forster Square Retail Park as present. A3 from Bridge St. Top .B1 then as 662.

Anyone know the city centre routes of the A2 and A3? Transdev haven’t confirmed it, but it’ll be Major Row or Canal Road, Well Street, Hall Ings, Drake Street, Bridge Street, Vicar Lane, Well Street and then as present This will be the case for the 662 as well

662 is another traditional route abandoned. Again, I would have expected it to use the Godwin St route.
Traditionally, the Blazefield route for Bingley ran via Westgate, whereas the Corporation buses along Manningham Lane ran via Cheapside

Well, with a little over a week to go, there's absolutely no official information about routing, apart from the starting stops (if that's not an oxymoron).
There is no point in asking METRO. They don't seem to know about ANY intermediate stops?

Is it just me who thinks that its not sensible doing these works when Interchange is shut, already enough confusion as it is. I know Halifax is supposed to get Market Street pedestrianized and have the town centre stops re-organised, but they are waiting until the bus station is completed.

They don't seem to know about ANY intermediate stops? It’s crazy. My dad lives in Thornton. I had to send him a link to BusTimes and explain how to expand to all stops and check the map to show him the new route of the 607. I bet the number of people in Thornton aware of the new route are in double digits at best at this point.

They have an awful lot of work to do in a week.
I had a wander round today and it looks a long way off.
Well Street still has raised iron works so will need surfacing and painting in the next 7 days to even take any traffic. Hope the weather stays clear for them!
Two of the four bus stops on there don't even exist yet with stop U only halfway complete with paving flags just going in.
Vicar Lane Z is not in place yet although there is a water filled concrete rectangle there which is I assume where it will be. I could only see one of X or Y completed too.
The Drake Street stop is in place although not showing up on bustimes yet. I wouldn't fancy waiting for a late evening bus there though.
The Bridge Street stop is also in place but could it have been placed any further away from the centre of town!
As mentioned previously Hall Ings H11 is way too small for the traffic it is expecting and will cause queues when 2 buses are on stand at the same time.
N1 & N2 are way too close together for the amount of services using them, if they were putting them so close together they may as well have had three stops there and done away with H11.
And yes they do have posters on bus stops but a mixture of interchange closure information and April changes information which has got to be confusing for passengers unfamiliar with the city.

Plus City Park B needs surfacing plus Bus Stop pole, flag and (if they are including one) shelter installing, City Park A doesn't even seem to exist, let alone need finishing as far as I can tell and Goitside F is non existant.
It's going to be bloody carnage.

Well Street not being finished yet is worrying. You’d have thought the bus company would want to take some buses along there ahead of it opening fully to check it’s all up to standard.
Turning to/from Church Bank would surely need checking that there is enough clearance.
The road itself still looks very narrow, I wouldn’t be surprised if it is hard to get past parked buses if they don’t pull in tightly

I cannot see how buses using Thornton Road will stop on Princes Way, there will be a raised island in the way stopping them. I suspect the 607 etc will stop outside the Leonardo Hotel and that's it before Nelson Street/Interchange.

Noting that buses coming into town via Thornton road cannot access city park stop B due to a raised traffic island being built which separates the junction from the bus stop. So any buses rerouted down Thornton road cannot stop there.

Stop B1 on Bridge Street could barely be further away from the city if they tried.
I can see people trudging all the way up there and then the bus pulling away when they get near it

They don't seem to know about ANY intermediate stops? Still no official information on routings. The general public doesn't use bustimes or have the bus companies' own information that I've included above. And it seems that METRO doesn't have the information either, or they're trying to keep things simple by just revealing the terminal points, oh and bus stop L at the bottom of Cheapside for the shuttle. Latest: tonight, a bus driver (talking to a passenger ahem a customer) passed on details of the starting point, i.e., NelsonSt (instead of an intermediate stop)... but then added that changes are still tbc, so it might not happen on Sunday yet...
