Timetables for the 382/383 can be seen on bustimes.org, for those who haven't seen them yet. Service 382 will run hourly Monday-Saturday daytime plus a couple of early evening journey and every two hours Sunday daytime. Service 383 will run half-hourly Monday-Saturday daytime and hourly evenings and Sundays. Monday-Saturda daytime departure times from Huddersfield are designed to provide a 15 minute frequency towards Slaithwaite on services 184 (xx35), 382 (xx05) and 383 (xx20, xx50), Monday-Saturday daytime. Return journeys towards Huddersfield are a little bit unbalanced with the 382 running about 5-10 minutes in front of the 184 between Slaithwaite and Huddersfield - xx09/xx39 (383), xx48 (382), xx56 (184). Sunday journeys on 184/382 also a little bit unbalanced, with the 382 departing Huddersfield 4 minutes in front of the 184 (1029/1033, 1229/1233, 1429/1433, 1629/1633). Also, for those who use stops on Mount Road/Hard End in the evening, it's not an ideal connection for anyone wanting to change at Marsden centre from the 2003 184 from Oldham or onto the 2101 journey from Marsden to Oldham, as the 383 will arrive into Marsden from Huddersfield at 2036 (25 minute connection) and departs from Marsden Peel Street stop at 2044 (one minute before the 184 arrives - meaning just under an hour's wait). bustimes.org/services/382-huddersfield-bus-station-wilberleebustimes.org/services/383-huddersfield-bus-station-marsden-dirkerwith 184 and 382 times this use to happened before when 184 was First Manchester ie not far behind local Marsden bus

Were they ever the 380s? As far as I've been in Huddersfield, these routes were numbered in the 348-352 range, before becoming 181-186 to align with Manchester's 184. You are correct. These routes were numbered in the 350-54 series since 1974 when WYPTE was formed. Prior to this they were 50-54 in the Corporation/JOC days. IIRC the 380's route in Metro day's were Newsome services. Strictly speaking they were not renumbered until 1980. National Bus Company services were renumbered in May 1976 followed by Bradford Metro services when the Interchange opened in March 1977 and eventually Calderdale and Kirklees in 1980.

We're so sorry to say that DalesBus 59 will be suspended after operation on Saturday, 16th March, until the reopening of the A59, which is currently closed for emergency repairs. We've seen very few people on board during the diversion period, and the diversion route will now be subject to further delays due to roadworks returning at Manor Park.

This should have been sorted out but it's not Greater Manchester so they probably don't care.

First thing this morning and buses are still not serving Hard End
I presume the Oldham drivers are just driving the same way they used to do when they had the 184 before and haven’t been told there has been a route change

They've been saying on Twitter since Sunday that they're investigating. I'm not sure what takes that long to investigate.

Back when the 500 was split between First and Keighley Buses it ran to Hebden Bridge Station and then to Todmorden 3 times a day on the days it ran. On Saturdays there was a trip each way just to/from Hebden Brdge. Since it became hourly and just run by Keighley it hasn't. It's amazing how services that were pretty much infrequent have mostly been upscaled to 1 bus an hour. Services 502, 900/1 and B3 have all been successful with buses being very busy. Maybe Halifax to Oldham could be given a go with the right motivation and advertising to attract people. The 502 used to be hourly from 0520 to 2320 from Keighley with an extra peak service in each direction in the am and pm peaks (though it only used to run until 1820 on a Sunday which nearly caught me out a couple of times) until immediately before its complete withdrawal. The 900/1 was far more useful to me when it was actually hourly and connected with the B3. The B3 has been successful, but starts very late on a Sunday (it did run an hour earlier which connected nicely with the first of the 3 Sunday 901s but that journey was withdrawn). I'd love the 562 back, but I know how poorly patronised that was between Rishworth and Denshaw. I'd prefer to get a reliable 2bph (or 3bph) between Halifax and Ripponden with 1 or 2 bph from Rishworth to Halifax.

Someone's posting on twitter that it's "100% supposed to run on Manchester Road" because they've seen a message posted by a driver, ignoring how it's been registered and how it's being publicised.
It *is* now supposed to go via Manchester Road through Linthwaite and Cowersley, so that might be what the driver was saying,

I have heard through in the vineyard that drivers who don't know the new route to just do what they know. It seems they were apparently trained on the old route, got an internal notice to run down Manchester Road, but didn't mention Hard End. It seems like incompetence from Stagecoach, rather than the Bee Network from my view.

I think a fine needs to be issued personally because this is simply incompetence Buses running the wrong way for 2 days is a fairly major inconvenience for people on the skipped part of the route. I've suggested they at least put a note on their online route updates but they won't do anything until they investigate - something they've been saying for 2 days. I don't expect an instant correction, but 2 days should be enough time to contact the depot and start telling drivers the correct route. Almost all journeys so far have skipped Hard End.
