Where did you hear that? I'd be skeptical. It's on the NYCC update that the 164 Saturday service will be reinstated from 25 July. I'm not surprised for the few routes that have no Sunday service - getting rid of any service on those was a mistake, but I doubt they have the drivers to go back to full Saturday service - they're certainly not getting any trained at the moment.

Sad to read about the 101 being cancelled. It had only recently been changed to Mon- Fri only with Saturday being chalked off.
This will still leave plenty of buses around Stanley, including of course the 175, but not sure about the Wrenthorpe end of the route.

FIRST WEST YORKSHIRE LTD Route: Leeds Bus Station to Holt Park Service number: 6 Service type: Normal Stopping Effective date: 24 Jul 2022 Revised timetables, revised route in Leeds City Centre Interesting indeed. Or is it as simple as now re-routing it via Eastgate to LCBS rather then a complete re-route.

Details of the summer timetable on the Coastliner have been published by Transdev with the new X43 between York and Whitby via Scarborough. The X43 will run from York railway station, missing out Malton along with the villages of Heworth, Stockton-on-the-Forest, Barton Hill, Scagglethorpe and Seamer into Scarborough, where it appears to run non-stop between Alpamare Park and Whitby (more direct route than Arriva's X93). The service will run Monday-Saturday at 0907 from York to Whitby and 1540 from Scarborough railway station to Whitby with return journeys from Whitby at 1150 to Scarborough railway station and 1750 to York railway station (this now being the last journey out of Whitby to York with the 1745 840 journey re-timed to run at 1700 and the 1810 843 from Scarborough to Malton now running all the way through to Leeds via York to replace the 1745 840). Connections from Leeds can be made at York on the 0745 843 journey to Scarborough (or theoretically at Scarborough, as it arrives 4 minutes in front of the X43). The 1750 journey from Whitby should connect with service 843 at York for connections to Tadcaster, Seacroft and Leeds. Sadly, CityZap starts too late from Leeds and finishes too early to connect with the X43. www.transdevbus.co.uk/coastliner/more-coastliner-buses-summerimages.transdevbus.co.uk/downloads/Coastliner%20Web%20TT%2017-Jul-2022.pdf

It wasn’t entirely successful and seen as over the top, and also meant the Whitby service didn’t run from Leeds which wasn’t popular

X43 is strange - takes longer Saxton-Scarborough in both directions presumably direct along the A64 than a 843 running via Seamer.

On the way back, it is fractionally quicker – my guess would be that it's expected to arrive at Scarborough station a few minutes before that, but then is allowed some stand time to give it a better chance of departing for Whitby on time.

SPCT's 99 change is that it's been extended to Skelmanthorpe, Lower Cumberworth & Upper Cumberworth from Saturday 16th July.

From Travel South Yorkshire:
Globe:
Service 94/94A/94B - changes to the times with journeys also serving Cannon Hall.
Service 96/96C - changes to the times of morning commuter time journeys from Barnsley on service 96. Additional journeys introduced on Sundays with journeys on service 96c serving Cannon Hall.
Service 97 - journeys which served Barnsley and Wilthorpe revised to run between Darton and Wakefield.
Service 198 - extended to run beyond Newstead through to Hemsworth and South Elmsall.
Just wondering with the extension of service 198 does that mean if will replace the 197?

May have found something? I'm quite unfamiliar with the routes in Halifax, but these routes seem to be completely new? Could these be the new cuts? All of the 'from 24 July' routes seem to have massively reduced frequencies and or night journeys cut, the routes also seem to be either completely the same or have minor changes to the routes which are below them. bustimes.org/operators/first-halifax

509 appears to be Mixenden - Halifax (presumably interworked with the 510 Halifax - Mixenden during the day, with both becoming circulars in the evening, 509 out via Pellon, back via Wheatley and the 510 out via Wheatley, back via Pellon).
511 appears to be approx. hourly Halifax - Halifax via Pellon and Mixenden.
513 appears to be hourly Halifax - Halifax via Pellon, Wainstalls and Mixenden (presumably replacing the Team Pennine 514?)

Lucky them. Also does this mean the 524 will terminate at Mixenden rather than Wainstalls as there is roughly a half hourly service to Wainstalls and 524 will loose customers as there are faster alternative routes to Halifax?

The registration for service 524 has it as operating between Halifax and Mixenden so seems likely it's being pulled from Wainstalls. I'm a tad confused by the new route numbers. So the 510 towards Halifax will be renumbered to the 509. The 512 out via Pellon is being renumbered to the 511 once per hour and the 513 once per hour via Wainstalls. Presumably the 512 out via Wheatley Road will have one bus per hour stay as 512 and one bus per hour renumbered to something else (514 perhaps?) operating via Wainstalls?
