Tates don't seem very good at updating the website at the moment. All of the new timetables are still under upcoming considering they would have operated them for a couple of days now. The website was well maintained at the start but seems to have gone downhill. Wonder how the first couple of days have gone in dewsbury.

From what I remember/can gather the employee who ran and maintained the website left to work for National Express back in June. Its Thrybergh who is on the Sy forum btw.

Enviro 200 YX62FET was one of the buses on the 214 today.
It was running 5 mins late so was running together with similar Enviro 200 Arriva's 1051 on the 213.

Yes malli, seen the above like olympian. The red on the Metro-Connect liviered one seems brighter than the standard Metro red.

Yes I think they have just painted the white on and left the Rossendale red on YJ54BUP was painted using the paint code supplied by Metro. I think it's the MyBus red, rather than MetroConnect red.

That surely is too small to run the service as it is only a M710

I've seen a couple of reports saying that they have it, perhaps they have another Metro contract for it? Surely the 59 reg ones don't need re seating though as per Malli's comment?

That surely is too small to run the service as it is only a M710 to be fair,on some trips they could fit all the passengers into the back of a car im guessing the re-seating means there having the second set of tip ups taken out & fitted with normal seats instead

Noticed today in Dewsbury that Enviro200 1091 in service on the 213, has a card in the windscreen with the number 1035 printed on it. Is this a London style running number or something totally different?

The Alexander Dennis Enviro200 demonstrator YX61 EKO in use by Tate's Travel is finished in a mostly grey exterior and has fleet number 2616 (not shown on the vehicle). The destination is in a pale blue finish and seems to work well whatever time of day or weather.
The interior seats 37 (I think) with black/grey leather(?) high back seats and dark red stanchions. As a demonstrator it is probably top spec. and has very useful under-seat lighting to guide the passenger along.
A driver told me it was theirs 'indefinitely' and that seven new buses are in the pipeline (make not known), along with 15 withdrawals, mostly due to new engine emission changes next year.
