Its on Travel South Yorkshire website and will be withdrawn from 20th July. My thought is they might be changing the network along the hospital corridor.

Theory time, with the rumours earlier in the year about Tates expanding into West Yorkshire with some new routes, and with the 85/A being taken over by Tates in a different format (supposedly by intergrating it daily with another route), could it be that Tates are going to launch a new route from Huddersfield to Barnsley via part of the 85/A and 94 routes? They've had belief in and made a success of the 96 when the 58/444 were pulled so maybe they think they can re-launch a through link from Huddersfield to Barnsley and make a success of it.
URGENT EDIT TO STOP MYSELF LOOKING LIKE A RIGHT IDIOT!,Was thinking the 94 was the 24 to Denby Dale, but still that revised 85/A could be part of with the 24.

Total Creadit for Tate's Travel today operating in the flooded weather when others where unable to do so. I was stuck in Penistone... Stagecoach send all there buses operating route 21 to Penistone Grammer school about 14:30. About 15:00 Green Rd in Penistone flooded and then i was stuck as Stagecoach 21s we're able to operate. At 15:40 the next Barnsley bound bus arrived, Tate's Travel 1521 with a 92. I was extreamly impressed that Tate's had managed to operate and even got throught Silkstone which was very err flooded. Top quallity driver on 1521 this afternoon with the 15:40 from Penistone and we managed to get to Barnsley pritty much on time. Top Driving from the driver and most certainly not what i expected from a small operater with a flooded depot...
Well Done Tate's Travel

It's only water, just drive through it. Could be a bit rash if you can't see what's at the bottom of the water! After all there could be a bus trap lurking out of sight! Motorists have been warned to be aware of standing water after a man died when his car came off the road in Northumberland after torrential rain. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-18752187

It's only water, just drive through it. Ever heard of Hydraulic Ingestion or Hydraulicking?. Try it in your Solo, The trick is to find a nice deep stretch of water, drive as hard as you can into it and watch as the engine sucks in water through the air filter housing then listen as the engine dies, Totally wrecked by the above. Still, It's only water, just drive through it.

You can drive through it at a nice steady 10-20mph, surely that is ok. I done it other week.

I thought Tates where bringing out a new livery. Wouldn't it have made sense to paint the new vehicles in the new livery.

yt03ayf working buses, not toys for bus spotters to view, the 11 plates are now 12 mth old and have covered a fair few miles so its imposible for them to now look brand new.

Didn't mean brand new Malli, Just paint those panels that are replaced. 1112 IIRC had/ has a multi coloured rear with replaced panel work... Anyways can't fault Tate's after having the pleasure of a Redline 4 last week :/
