Also, funny how one 269 (or maybe 289) driver, tried to overtake my 268 as we both left Hecky Green at same time, at the lights from the RIGHT hand lane, as I was turning left, in the correct lane. mk2mcw, what flavour popcorn you got? Cos, I think, we'll all be wanting some for this thread again. various flavours toffee salted sweet SGI are dead end of story why don't some people just accept the fact they were crap and that's it?

@ h6yly, As we all know, the Scanias & Primos were all taken back by Dawson Rentals, for non payment of rental, or did he just return them? ?? Yes they werr repossed as were the 57 and 58 reg Centros. The Wright Streetlite (MK63XAM) was repossed shortly afterwards. Scania Wright Solar Y48HHE was bought by Mr Hawkins for the 278 as the DAF Prestige was proving expensive to run so the prestige was reassigned to local services (284/285/X81) so recovery was easy. Mr Hawkins then purchased the 6 Volvo Wright Crusaders from Transdev (607/608/609/612/613/615). Now I have been told the rental operators for the Centros & Wright Streetlite (MK63XAM) were going to let sgi keep the vehicles with BOTH Scanias after a certain period but that went out the window when they got behind on the payments for the 3 Primos and subsiquently got behind on payments for the rest. What planet are you living on? Cos, it sure ain't, planet Earth!!!!

It was also, the address that SGI CT had on the side of their vehicles, too (but, you already knew that), except this time, it's on a proper O licence, and not hiding behind a Community Transport Licence. Will have to give proper 56 days notice for any changes etc.

Would that be the same Mr Hawkins who knowingly employed a prolific, wanted and now convicted child sex attacker and rapist, who bullied drivers into driving over their legal hours and who threatened drivers with the sack if they refused to work their rest day ? Nope he didn't bully them he stuck up for them, your on about Mr Steele. All the hiring & firing and bullying was by Mr Steele's friend who worked for him since day one apparently. And just to clarify, who was Mr Steele's friend??

And from what I've heard from people who know the owner of Station Coaches, since childhood, I doubt that very much.

A new thread has been created for the new Arrons Travel operation.
Please discuss the new operation on the new thread and restrict this thread for talk on SGI.
Thank you.

Due to my above comment, I've received 3 emails off a person who shall remain nameless, but, I'll tell them this publicly on here. By all means, show the person, my above comment, in fact, if you've not shown them all of my comments on this thread, please go ahead and show them. Oh, and like I said in my one reply to you, I'll not be replying to any more messages off you.

That will have finished the 183 as that is the time it terminates but this now needs to be in the Arrons Travel/Station Coaches section created on Saturday by Tim. Why when if that is the case this is still a SGi service and nothing to with Arrons yet

Why when if that is the case this is still a SGi service and nothing to with Arrons yet Arrons Travel/Station Coaches took over the 183 and 624A as of yesterday (Monday 8 June) and the 126 will recommence on 27 July. If you dont believe me check th Yorkshire Bus Group Facebook or phone the yard tommorow after 09:00 or after 10:00 if you wish to ask Mr Hawkins himself about the services as thats when he returns from doing his school run. Also Station Coaches took over running the 183 and 624A after SGI ceased operating at the beginning of last month. Personally I'd rather check vosa registrations or even Metro bus changes, not a posting on some random Facebook page. And I seriously hope 'ringing the yard' isn't a serious suggestion.

If only everything were true once posted on Facebook, I would want a direct feed from the Court of King Arthur so I could see tonight winning lottery numbers before I buy a ticket. Plan B is to use numbers from the first six buses I spot this morning

In heard they are launching an hourly bus between Cleckheaton and Dewsbury and calling it the 268A to prevent confusion with the 268 that already runs by Arriva.
