Can we be careful with regards to Debt that may or may not be owed? Especially dishing out random figures like you mention.

SGI's twitter now appears to be advertising investments. I hope they have all the required authorisations to be doing that as the FCA can come down a lot harder than VOSA.

Looks like a spam message or 1 that was supposed to link to peer2peer lending sites. FCA would laugh at anyone who reported this.

Am hearing that as of Monday, SGI are suspended from the MetroCard scheme, and as a result are not permitted to sell MetroDay tickets.
Any presented should be refused travel, and the passenger referred back to SGI or Metro.

*Sings* And now the end is near...
Seriously, this must be a first. I don't recall any operator being suspended by Metro before?

What is the actual name of the company now? SGI or Haste, as Haste is registered in Adel as a vehicle leasing company.
could this be so that if SGI go bust or bankrupt, that the vehicles remain property of DS or Station?

I too was thinking if any other operator, had been suspended from the selling/acceptance of the Metro product, and I came up empty. Another song, that could be used to this news is "it's the final countdown" lol

No doubt, we'll see other the coming weeks. The company name will remain as SGI. Haste will lease the vehicles to SGI. The way (I presume) Mr Steel makes money out of this CIC.

When I first saw the Haste name on one of their buses, to me it looked like as if SGI were naming their own buses.

I did the blinds so I have seen it. I speak a mix of tarn and Wakefield so it means Not in Service. But is better than the sad face that others show on their blinds Sorry..............I'm Not In Service :-( only on Dewsbury & Heckmondwike vehicles, I'd personally like it to have a smiley face :-) when Not In Service, afterall, most bus drivers say 'A happy bus is an empty bus', so I can't actually understand why most of their drivers have a face like a wet weekend? Think I'll ask somebody to redo Hecky & Dewsbury desti with some smiley faces on them.

The unhappy face is a nice touch by Arriva. Better than First who just put 'Not in Service' in massive letters having dropped 'Sorry' a while back.

Well, someone tweeted them to ask if it was true that SGI/Haste/Yorkshire Buses were ceasing trading and the reply was that they were 3 separate companies. So Yorkshire Buses to replace SGI/Haste maybe?

Remember, the 'owner' of Yorkshire Bus Group puts OFFICIAL on anything to do with SGI, and seems to thinks he has sole rights to report anything about the company, and if it hasn't come from or through him, will try to make out your information is inaccurate.
