Spot on liveried Mini Pointless Dart 651 (V651HEC) has arrived at Keighley recently on the back of a Petty's wagon in poor mechanical condition. It is unknown at this stage weather it is for K&D or just for repair. Would fit in well at Keighley alongside 848!!!

Looks like they found their way into 1094/5 (PO51MUW/Y), the first of this type in Keighley to have LED destinations.

Saw 1094 tonight in Keighley Bus Station - looks really good with LED blinds. Would be useful for 703s and 719s

K&D 1051 (Y151HRN) now receiving LED blinds. It is expected that all 5 of these ex Burnley B10's will be treated and with 1094/5 be mainly allocated to 717/719 routes - particularly the latter as the service now extends to ASDA of which the B10's do not have on the desti. I also hear that K&D are due ex Harrogate 451/2 for use on the Leeds service alongside the 2 existing Presidents and 2704/6 (one of which is being rebuilt and not sure what state is in at the moment).

451 and 452 are still in use at Harrogate - today they were seemingly so frequent appearing that any visitor would have thought the Knaresborough service was branded as Yorkshirexpress!

Heading up the Headrow in Leeds around lunchtime was a Transdev Pointer Dart, I was a long way off (I was outside M&S and it came past the gap you can see in the far distance!) so couldn't really see much of it other than it was in an unusual livery of white with some huge forward pointing arrows towards the rear on the nearside, which extended across the windows.
Does anyone know which bus this is / have any pics of it?

Looking at Garrietta's latest photos uploaded today apparently 451 and 452 have now gone to Keighley. Also reference is made to 2709 leaving Harrogate shortly which will leave 2714 as the only non 36 double decker. As I think there is a requirement for a double decker on the 24 school run wonder if Harrogate is to another double decker from somewhere else as cover.

If you look closely at the top right corner of the destination screen there are some reverse numbers 16_78 possibly from the reflection of a Stagecoach liveried bus opposite!

A Coastliner Gemini (not sure weather its B7 or B9) has been repainted in a new colour scheme, mainly light blue i think, similar style to York B7RLE 450. B7RLE's 451/2 to replace K&D B10BLE's 563/4 i hear. One of the B7RLE's is now in Keighley's paint shop.

Given that there now appears to be an almost permanent vehicle shortage it would make sense to keep 1 as a spare to avoid using MPDs on peak time 717 and 719 services

The livery on the Gemini certainly looks better than that used on Versas. Are there full rear messages on the back similar to those on the new 36 livery?

I'd imagine so, it seems to be a compulsory feature of the Ray Stenning livery No doubt a picture of a family with a bucket and spade or something!
