We complained about vehicle clearances in morton (727) and Harewood road/Leeming (720) and was stupid to see MPD's over loaded on services 702/3/4/6. Some of the local routes are severely overcrowded but with more sensible diagramming some could be overcome. For example, the 1710 727 doesn't need to be a large dart, but the 1705 and 1735 704s could do with extra capacity.

I'd reintroduce the 714 at Peak times. It used to run straight up Long Lee Lane, not using Cherry Tree Rise, Dale View Rd or Spring Ave and would be more suitable for larger vehicles than the existing services.

The all white 2702 seems to have a school run use as it was heading towards Walton from Wetherby this afternoon with M2 on its blind. H&Ds B6's seemed to be everywhere today working on the 24, 1B and 1C although 614 had expired inbound having made it the top of the hill on Ripon Road.

Only remember 1 journey running as 714 and that was at about 1540 from the Bus Station. Used to return not in service and was the extension of a school service. Think it would be better if the timetable used before April this year could be reintroduced

Would be better if they ditched some MPD's, keep a few for services 78A, 708, 711, 715, 716 & quiet 720 & 727's and maybe get some buses with seats this time - like Burnley's Versa's? Hmm now let me see - there are some 37 seat 10.7m darts somewhere they could use...

Keighley & District Dart 848 is out in service today on 720/727/729 services, still in Burnley livery

Where have all the 770 Double Deckers gone, i was in Thorner for about 3 hours the other day and all 770's were operated by single deckers

Where have all the 770 Double Deckers gone, i was in Thorner for about 3 hours the other day and all 770's were operated by single deckers Probably gone in for that refurbishment what all of them are getting what gets them a new chassis, a new engine, new interior and 2 + 1 seats upstairs (How Bizarre)

I mean there has been no news of it being agreed that the rest of the buses will follow suit and i doubt that this rebuild will just happen with a click of the fingers. It'll take months to complete!

Good pic. Have 803 and 804 now been withdrawn? Both still in depot today. As they have to be returned to the leasing company "as new", they are having lots of work done to them - new panels & paint touch up where required. Also all lettering been removed - for some reason they had to be de branded before they return!

H&Ds displaced X54 vehicles 451 and 452 have had their branding partially removed so as to read merely "rapid bus connection" "Yorkshirexpress" and were this morning in use on consecutive Knaresborough Road services.

Spot on liveried Mini Pointless Dart 651 (V651HEC) has arrived at Keighley recently on the back of a Petty's wagon in poor mechanical condition. It is unknown at this stage weather it is for K&D or just for repair.
