My understanding is that the recent liveries aren't Best Impressions - Blazefield recruited a graphic designer about a year ago who did these (YCL Versas, 36).
Can anyone tell which fleetnumber this Gemini that's been redone is?

B7RLE's 451/2 to replace K&D B10BLE's 563/4 i hear. One of the B7RLE's is now in Keighley's paint shop. Will 563 and 564 leave the fleet or be converted to mybuses? Given that there now appears to be an almost permanent vehicle shortage it would make sense to keep 1 as a spare to avoid using MPDs on peak time 717 and 719 services Not heard of any plans for more mybus, but Harrogate have started using B10B/Strider and Wright Renowns on schools to replace them old Javelins - so that could be a possibility... www.flickr.com/photos/23137045@N00/4314024916/

This must be a fairly rare occurance of a Coastliner bus being repainted, normally back in pre-Trandev days they rarely stayed in the fleet long enough to gain a repaint.

More pre-recession than pre-Transdev I suspect. The 36s were to be replaced but were repainted instead due to the recession. On the other hand Transdev are depriving First (Avon in particular) and Stagecoach (particularly ex Tracky) of vehicles !!

But Transdev are stingy compared to Blazefield - always thought it was Blazefield policy to replace Coastliner vehicles after 5 years?

What's interesting is the fleetnames above the doors, "Transdev in Harrogate". Could this be a possible sign of the demise of Harrogate & District fleetnames etc?

I got used to thinking of Yorkshire Traction Group as being like Blazefield in exile! I doubt that under Stagecoach ownership they have bought any ex-Blazefield vehicles though. This means there are few major bus companies who specialise in second-hand buses now.

It might be more to do with relating to the new www.harrogatebus.co.uk website when it is lauched which will be like the York/Coastliner one and presumably will be headed Transdev in Harrogate. Taking the York site as an example it will presumably be split into sections on the 36, 1 ,Airport Express and the rest which would hopefully be still H&D. It will be interesting to see if the 36s are to gain the "in Harrogate" labelling as well.

That livery reminds me of Trent Barton. Like the bemused look on the passengers faces on the next photo "ooh look Eileen, the driver is taking a photo of us"...

The livery does look like a combination of Trent Barton, Spot On and the Urban Cool/MyBus livery.
All it needs is a slogan on the side saying "The really good way between Harrogate and Knaresborough"
Regarding the fleetname, they only use 'Transdev' on route branded vehicles, so 'Transdev in Harrogate' is more locak than currently

Keighley's 662 branded buses have the Keighley & District fleetname, yet the MyBuses just have Transdev. Will be interesting to see what names Darts 779 and 848 will have applied to them when they are repainted.

The branding is really inconsistent. On 36s Transdev removed the 36 logo below the front windscreen and applied initially T H&D and now just Transdev, yet the new Coastliner liveried double decker retains Coastliner below the front windscreen. Then we have the new 1 livery where the 1 is applied below the windscreen.

New 760 colours. These will be applied to K&D 451/2 first, with apparently others to follow.

Wow, looks really good - if only they would adopt it as fleet livery.

T in Keighley now. Maybe the fleet names are on the way out. H&Ds webpage is talking about the 1 livery being applied to the rest of the fleet.

Interesting news that Keighley & District appear to be going to try route branding on the 760 again, remember Airelink!
I think I'm right in saying the PVR for the 760 is 8 in which case this throws up some interesting questions such as which other buses will be route branded. If 451 & 452 are to be first I would presume that 453, 454 & 455 would follow. 2701 & 2703 are almost always used on this route too so maybe a revised version for the deckers.
This would leave the route one bus short though. The rumour last year was that 2704 & 2706 were earmarked for transfer from Harrogate & District. Certainly 2702, 2705 & 2707 have gone to Blackburn so you would have maybe expected 2704 to maybe go there as well but the fourth bus to be used there is 2716.
So if Transdev are investing in the 760, could it be that the President rebuilding project with 2706, has always been with this route in mind?
I wonder....?
