The VRT should be kept as this is a classic, as is the ECW Olympian. The Titans and the MCW's wouldn't be a major loss.

I heard that some of them were going to be withdrawn, whether it is happening or not is another thing... It's always the case, they won't be withdrawn - warm stored! So they can be put back on to tour use when needed! Don't think that Tom will withdraw the VR though, he much regrets getting rid of VDV140S. What a lot of people forget though, even though Tom is basically one of the biggest bus enthusiasts I know, he's still running a business and every vehicular decision made has to be such that will see the company prosper! Thanks, J

York Pullman may want to start trying low floor double deckers. Ex London Tridents, there is 100s available.

Yes but they are spending money on brand new coaches, brand new single deckers. I love Pullman anyway purely because of the fleet variation.

Also they run more of a 'Heritage' tour which older buses do the job nicely.

Just would love to see some of the buses painted up in Pullman colors like most the deckers.

Visited the depot today.
The ex Blue Line Olympian still in poor condition as well as one of the East Lanc's school Volvo Oly's. Looks like the VRT and ECW Olympian is back for open top use. No sign of the Metrobuses. One of the Marshall Dart's looks in withdrawn condition, unless it's having repairs done.
Apart from that nothing too exciting to note.

The City Tour is actually already operating, certainly at weekends anyway. They are mainly using the ex-Lothian Olympians on it, supplemented with a couple of others.

Looks like they are getting interest. Very dissapointed BWY373V is for sale. All comes to an end though it has steps, which isnt norm sadly plus also she has done far better than other buses within the bigger groups such as Darts, B10B's, Prisma's etc...

Yes but couldn't it be kept as a special events bus ? Oh dear. Its probably worth more to YP when sold for the few thousand it'll get than the 'special events' contracts that YP may or may not get.
