Also at the depot is a Plaxton Primo and 2 more ex Ulsterbus Alexander Q Type Tigers. Does the arrival of the Lothian Open toppers spell the end for Titans and Metrobuses ?

Recent acquistions for this company are seen in the photo album below. northeastandyorkshirebus.fotopic.net/c1932196.htmlThey are Volvo Olympian/Alexander R95 LHK ex-Hershall Grammer School, Slough and all-Leyland Olympian J113 KGW ex-Preston Bus. Both liveried for the Unibus service. I'm guessing that they are to be used as back up for M209/221 VSX

They're obviously doing well on the service then. It's nice to be wrong like that, keeps the scene in York interesting.
Edit- Just looked at their website, the service now apprears to run every 10 mins for most of the term-time daytime period. I thought I'd saw a lot of 44s over the last week!

They are Volvo Olympian/Alexander R95 LHK ex-Hershall Grammer School. I've got experience with this batch of Olympians and they're quite nicely turned out vehicles, don't expect it to be quick though

G35/36OCK ex Preston Bus Leyland Olympians have been added to the fleet. The ex Solent Blue Line one is sadly scrapped which is a huge shame as i thought that was a nice bus. Does anyone know the status of the open toppers, such as the Metrobuses, Titans and the ECW Olympian and the VRT ?

Open tops are either at York Pullmans Rufforth base, at at the farm ready for use from Easter onwards!
Don't think any have been withdrawn as of yet, will report back when more is known!
