I've certainly seen 37056 & 37059 this week and just don't understand this suggested movement. Low floor buses appear to be short at Bradford at the moment with Olympians out on various routes every day. If these four vehicles go, Bradford will surely need four low floor replacements. I had seen somewhere that 66995 to 66998 were possibly due to leave Leeds, I suppose this could be a straight swap. although they, or others, will also need to have guide wheels fitted.

Olympian 31768 on the 610 Volvo b7RLE 69472 on the X6 (at peak time no less!) That's the second day running for 31768 on the 610's, 30814 was also on there yesterday. Today's peak also saw 30834 on the 607.

Has anyone got or compiled a list of fleet numbers for the new Centrebus ALX200 Darts?

A few of the Leeds Darts have been transferred across to Halifax.

I had 34046 in Halifax, but it was parked up in Bradford Interchange all day on Friday so this may also have been transferred over to join 34045 and 34037 which are already there. All that batch haven't been in Halifax for at least 3 months now Oh well, every one on this forum seems to hate First so much that most folks seem to have even given up reporting these fleet movements.

I read somewhere, can't remember where (maybe YDBN), that some of York's X64 buses are transferring to Leeds for the last few weeks of operation of the X64. With the losses in Leeds this will surely leave some spares once the X64 finishes. Maybe these or other B7's are destined for Bradford to replace the B10BLE's which have had their 'Yellow Line' branding removed.

Only one problem with this, I'm 99% sure it is not possible to travel from North or West Yorkshire to South Yorkshire on a First Bus. You would therefore probably end up having to buy an Arriva, Stagecoach etc ticket to make the link between counties. A £5 day ticket is then not looking such good value when you add this extra expense.
Bring back the X32/X33 I say!!

But this is a Hybrid demonstrator so will be nothing like any bus they are likley to cascade. More likely they are thinking of bidding for some of the new government funding that has been announced recently and just want to try one of these out in case of a succesful bid. At some point in the near future they are going to have to replace the Olympians at Keighley so maybe the Presidents or even Gemini's could move to Keighley leaving new Hybrids for the 770 or 36.

If the two do merge it can only be a cost cutting exercise with admin roles centralised as has happened in West and North Yorkshire.
There doesn't seem to be many obsticles in transferring buses between fleets as has been shown recently with the large exchange of buses between Glasgow and South Yorkshire and the upcoming transfer of MPD's to First Bristol from Rotherham and Doncaster with these being replaced in South Yorkshire by cascaded First London deckers.

60850 has had it"s Yellow Line 620/621 branding removed 60851 & 52 are also brandless, if they are taking the branding off these buses you would assume there is a reason. Possibly, these buses are to be moved on to another area and replaced with something a little newer, they did start to move some B10's last year so maybe are going to resume this process. or First Bradford are giving up on branding to give more freedom of allocation, I have noticed blue branded line buses on the 610-14 and 624 in the last week. I know they have the Temsa on the 607 but you didn't see these buses on other routes when Bradford were trialling the Scania last year.

Today, AY 1811 on the 427 in Bradford this teatime. Would have liked to have my camera handy as Transdev Keighley & District 1811 passed it by, probably the first time these two buses have ever shared the same space.

Marsahll Dart for the 2nd day in a row on the 51! Better make that three days in a row because I took a picture of one on the 51, 41256, at Moor Allerton on Tuesday morning.

Looking at the new timetable for the 610-612 I notice that it shows the stop on Hall Ings as adjoining or near a railway station, surely this is stretching the dictionary definition of the word 'near'. It must be getting on for a quarter of mile to walk around the Interchange from the top of Hall Ings to Bradford Interchange railway station. In fact it will be a close run thing whether Hall Ings is closer to the Interchange or whether the Market Street stop is closer.

This is ridiculous, so the Metroday can be used at any time but the Family, Bus/Train and Train Day Rovers are still limited to after 9.30am on weekdays. Why can't they just have one set of rules, if they can't give free train travel before 9.30am then they shouldn't change the bus only Day Rover either.
I know that are giving extra value by launching this, but I think it should be a change to all tickets or none at all.

HJC Dart 14 on the 629 again today, becoming a permanant fixture on this route with at least three days in the last week, what's happened to the low floor buses?

Doesn't seem to have been mentioned on here yet but I found a photo of 50282 in Worcester. This led me to another website which confirmed that First Bradford Solo's 50281 & 50282 were transferred to First Midland Red on 6 June 2010 to cover newly won tender work. Amazing to hear that First is taking on new work anywhere!!
It seems therefore that 53101 & 53103 were moved to Bradford last month to cover these movements.

I'm not sure it's going to make things any clearer for the general public to have a Metroday ticket when First already call their ticket a Firstday, what was wrong with Day Rover, it does exactly what is says on the tin!

Ahh they've now changed this, updated 11.05am to show Foxes Corner which makes more sense, but it's still a problem with an abnormal road??

From the Metro website
'Road closure, Thackley Corner, Baildon Updated: 10.05am Services 624, 626, 656 and 657 will not serve Baildon untill further notice. Police road closure at Thackley corner due to abnormal road. The above services will terminate at Shipley market place.'
Now though this partially explains your question, it is also wildly incorrect as Thackley Corner is on the other side of the valley completely and these routes do not pass through Thackley Corner at all. Where on earth do Metro get their information?? And do they mean an abnormal road or abnormal load?

454 was out on the 760 in new colours yesterday, this only leaves 455 out of this batch to do now.
