Did improve punctuality slightly from coming in via Wardleworth.

If that's the case the peak time frequency better stay at every 15 minutes because they struggle enough as it is during the Calder High and Trinity Sowerby rush hours. I Wouldn't be surprised if they go Every 20 Mins & just get converted to full DD Operation. I Am surprised it's the Burnley section looking at being reduced rather than the Rochdale, as I Did half expect them to at least threaten to cut the Rochdale section & then go with their begging bowl to TfGM (or 'ask for financial assistance') due to the roll out of the Bee Network similar to what they did with 184. One thing I'll be interested to see is if the 310/4/6 remain in tact after these changes, as they are probably the last First routes around Kirklees & Calderdale to still be on the same frequency as pre-covid & not be affected by the AI Timetables. I Think the only cut they've really had is the loss of the 310 Fri/Sat Nightbus. I must stress that the reduction of the Burnley service is just rumoured at this stage. Although Luke has posted a link to Lancashire County Council and there is no mention of cuts. One thing we have heard is the opposite regarding double deckers...apprently the Calder Valley will be going back to fully single deck again with the deckers going to Halifax to be used on the new Huddersfield services.

A preview of the bus graph for the Calder Valley services. Looks as though it will be on a completely random timetable.... hopefully this is from a while ago and it has been tweaked since.

Seems to be every First Halifax service there and a change to services in the Holme Valley. Also noticed that the 548/9 says via Rasterick Common. Has it always said that as they could be rerouted to see double decker buses on the route?

I wonder if this is a return of the X14, or just the 14 still listed as X14 (14)?

548/9 could be connected to the roadworks/closures rather than for DDs, as I think work to reroute the A643 along bridge Street instead of Briggate is due to start happening in the coming months.

Alright, but there will be no restrictions with allocating buses as running through Rasterick Common avoids the low bridge (despite the bridge being 14'6 big enough for double deckers).

It always says that. BusTimes still shows the current registration and it says ‘via Rastrick Common’ on there One thing you always need to remember is that VOSA registrations seem to drag around old information that never gets deleted off, such as old service numbers.

The Export as CSV option does provide some more details of those First changes mentioned above. A lot of the Halifax changes are to do with moving services back into the bus station. Here are the notes:

Wouldn't surprise me if the 51 and 52 were re-routed via the M621 at Junction 1 as it's only penny numbers what catch it on Elland Road, the busiest stop on that section being Top Moor Side which to be fair has the 55, 65 and 75 and is only served by the 51 and 52 in one direction. You can be on a peak hour bus around 8am to see just 3 people catch it at the West Stand Ticket Office and another couple catch it at the next stop with hardly any catching it at the footbridge stop further up. This move would improve timings on the 51/2, and would make the 55 more viable as that's only busy around Holbeck. Those wanting the 2 stops around the stadium could easily walk round to the Park and Ride which is also close to Elland Road Industrial Estate.

Team Pennine changes from their website: Denby Darts D1 Huddersfield to Denby DaleWe'll be running extra buses at busy times. We'll be running every 20 minutes from Huddersfield to Clayton West between 3.15pm and 5.15pm Monday to Saturday. I couldn't find the details so I find this to be helpful. Now the 307 is very interesting as there used to be a 307 between Huddersfield and Cross Lane so I thought it was left over from the 308 registration when they withdrew it. As for the 521/2/3 serving Halifax Bus Station is also a surprise as they didn't serve the old bus station, maybe it is has something to do with the pedestrianization of Market Street.

Of course the 547 isn’t exactly the same as the 549 as it runs a different route in Rastrick replacing the 563 which normally goes that way
So either there will be a route change or parts of Rastrick will be losing their Evening and Sunday service

With the tendered network for Calderdale being under review maybe they might consider that and add evening trips on the 563.

Didn't one of the bus proposals mention improving links from North Halifax to Calderdale Royal? I'm guessing having the Illingworths connect to the 501/3/X1 at the bus station is a step towards that.

Always squeaky bum time for me when the 308 appears on a VOSA change. Maybe the 307 will be the Holmfirth workings. As long as it's not a cancellation. Lol.
