128 went from Wakefield to Dewsbury via Horbury, didn't go the same way as 126/127 though, went via Overton and Grange Moor. Usually had e200minis on it, last time I got the 128, I ended up getting a very very empty Gemini 2, I was only one on it for most of the route. the one 128 under Arriva never ran with deckers because of the low railway bridge heading between Dewsbury & Ouzlewell.

Just notice another mistake on the awful 590/1/2 timetable, they have got the 590 registered to operate to Rochdale via Stansfield at 0514, 0559, 0735, 1124, 1324 & 1424. Yet no additional time and nothing on the running boards! Might just operate via there given it's the official route and see how long anyone takes to twig...

Very rare Doubt very much Arriva would send a 13ft 11 decker under Forge Lane Bridge on a 128, yes the bridge is 14ft, but 1 inch clearance, then again how accurate is the bridge measurement Attachments:

Arriva regularly send their double deckers under a 14'0 bridge on the 107 on Denby Dale Road and more commonly the 444 when it used to run through to Hall Green.

There are many instances across the country where a local bus operator regularly runs a decker that is signed as slightly higher than the bridge says it is because the operator knows the actual height which is fine until someone does something (often as simple as a road resurfacing adding an inch or two) and you hit it so if operators are going to do this you have to be very aware of what is going on around the bridge. A bridge near where I grew up had throughout my childhood had a major double-deck route run under it and then they resurfaced the road, took a couple of inches off the height and suddenly all the deckers vanished as they were now a risk.

The 141 is regularly a double decker and they fit under the 14ft bridge on Church Lane in Mickletown

I've been experiencing quieter rush hour 372s. It seems a large chunk of the general public is completely unaware about the stand changes at certain times. It seems people just go to stand E, and accept whatever time the live displays show.

Another day of terrible service on the 590/1/2 today as a result of the new timetable. Couldn’t agree more. My regular bus is the 07:20 (used to be 07:15) from Halifax-Hebden Bridge to connect with the 08:00 B3 over to Haworth. So far this bus has not made this connection once this week, I may have to rethink my regular commute as so far I’ve been over an hour late everyday. I'm definitely not driving the 0720 tomorrow morning - my turn to see if it's possible to get it to Hebden on time!
