Edinburgh's 100 carries a lot of local traffic as well, as it's the quickest route for commuters with smart cards from Gogarburn, Drum Brae, Zoo etc. Partially this is due to the 100 being excluded for DayTicket Validity (and CitySingle I believe), but included in the RidaCard scheme for period tickets. Although ordinary daysavers are not valid on route 100, Airport daysavers including the tram through to the airport, are valid on route 100. In 2014 I used one on the tram to the airport and was allowed to use it on route 100 back to town. Back to Yorkshire Tiger, it seems silly to allocate smaller buses ie Cadets to the Flying Tiger services. I am incidentally concerned that it may take longer to locate a refurbished Flying Tiger OmniCity at Bradford as a result.

No racks in 782 or 783, just standard seating. And 747 doesn't use tachos. I believe colour and, as mentioned, the charging points and wifi were deciding factors in the cadets being moved over. Deckers are out of the question, as part of the contract the airport requested the routes be run by singles only. hate to say this but theres a pic of 783 on the net on the uni runs a few weeks back and still has the airport baggage racks inplace. Looking at pics I think you're right, my bad!

It would now appear the separate fleets of Yorkshire Tiger (Waterloo), and Tiger Blue (Honley) have totally merged, as any TB service can be seen running with YT Centro's/Evolutions/Solo's etc. 302/319/324/366 for example, and TB/K-Line liveried Commander's/Solo's are now regular's on 231/2/262/435/6/7.

Tiger Blue have lost 3 cadets to Leeds so that's why more Yorkshire Tiger buses are running their routes.
Many Tiger Blue Solos have been surplus for many months and came in useful when Elland had their fire, so that's why some are in Elland.
Then you've got Waterloo doing maintenance for Honley meaning one or two buses are allocated to the wrong depot at any one time as buses are swapped over.
That explains the situation, but Tiger Blue buses are still generally allocated to Honley besides all those situations.

The present situation is so confusing that no rational explanation works from one day to the next and bears no resemblance to what was happening six months ago - the shortage caused by the Elland fire was generally covered from other sources than K-Line.

From what I saw on Monday if a YT bus on a T.Blue route e.g. 366 then its Waterloo drivers that use that vehicle just like they do on the 262 shorts that T.blue are suppose to cover YT drivers do the run. Also it seems the T.blue solo just float around know on ANY run at ANY of the 3 Calderdale & Huddersfield depots as T.blue have lost Practically all runs requiring midi buses at present.

I would expect tiger blue to be merged with Yorkshire tiger and tiger blue disappear, the repaints have totally stopped, guessing this is why.

Tiger Blue drivers, DRIVE Yorkshire Tiger vehicles on Tiger Blue routes, just like Yorkshire Tiger drivers, drive Tiger Blue vehicles on Tiger routes. Yesterday, two Yorkshire Tiger drivers that I know, were driving Tiger Blue vehicles on Tiger Blue routes. So, clearly, you're 'theory' etc is wrong

Yorkshire Tiger have tweeted that they are giving free travel tomorrow, 10 June, on the 59, 60A, 61, X63, 38 & 80 as a goodbye gift so maybe they are expecting bumper loads.

Seem to be seeing different buses operating out of Waterloo on an almost daily basis now. Not complaining mind, it keeps things interesting, even if a tad confusing. Noted earlier this morning at Waterloo were the "wrapped" Leeds Gemini, the Heart FM Olympus and a LWB Tempo (771?). A wrecker truck was also in attendance when i passed later, looked to be hitching up to the ELC Myllenium that's been littering the place for ages. Seen later in Mirfield was K-Line liveried Cadet 625 on YT's 262.

Must have been a sudden requirement for it!

Thanks yabus. It would have been 622. I can never remember the YT Fleet numbers. Not sure why they don't number them all in with Arriva Yorkshire Ltd. Like West Riding Buses did with Compass Bus.
