I rode Omnilink 761 branded on route 435 on Easter Monday. I thought the route had used MCVs. These are an improvement on the Solos I can remeber from when it was an Arriva Yorkshire route.
The Omnilink had a blue moquette rather than Tiger orange. The Plaxton Centros in the Huddersfield area still had original moquette.
I wonder roughly how many or what proportion of Tiger/ Tiger Blue buses have been refurbished now?

AY only got 3 Solo's in the fleet, when they took over Wakefield City Bus off Star Travel, Ossett. Wasn't the smallest low floor buses in the fleet before and after the Solo's arrived, V reg Mini Pointer Darts/ 14 plate Mini E200's?

Juding by these posts, it must be a case of memory like a sieve! I was in the area in 2007 & 2011, and distinctly recall seeing a small bus on Arriva running the Wakefield service. I expect now that it must have been an MPD.

I've been told by a fitter mate, who works at Waterloo depot, that 735 DYE is now theirs, and some more will be coming over from Leeds, shortly. He also told me, that the decker that hit the bridge at Stainland will be getting repaired

He also told me, that the decker that hit the bridge at Stainland will be getting repaired so 834 (734 DYE) is staying with possibly lets say 831-833 moving across and 905 & 906 returning as an example. Good to hear 891 will be fixed. Will the presidents, "touch wood", be hopefully leaving???

Noticed Scania 783 in use in Leeds today, possibly swapped with a Gemini going the other way?

I'm sure I've just seen 896 on the 231/232 in Wakefield, it certainly wasn't a Scania & was in the Heart Radio advert It must be back.

Further to this post, i may have jumped the gun somewhat, as it now appears to be back in service. Noted at Waterloo this lunchtime was UID all-over white ALX400.

Seen at Waterloo since monday, have been 3 Gemini's, 2 President's, the Heart FM Trident and a UID Arriva liveried ALX or President. 7 deckers at Waterloo. This must be the biggest decker allocation at Waterloo since Stagecoach, though i suspect this will probably contract as YT's decker movement's seem pretty fluid between depots.
