Are you telling me that First or Arriva never drop trips due to an unavailability of either buses or staff? Also if Tiger didn't run the 20/21/22 an hourly service is probably the best they'd get anyway.
People always exaggerate about poor service on the buses, read Twitter or articles in the press, you'd think every single trip ran an hour late. In reality you remember the one that did and forget the 20 that were bang on time.

No, not never, but if they were doing it with the regularity Tiger do on the routes I use, I'd complain just as much. Before Tiger ran the 22, HJC ran it, starting a bus war with First. First couldn't compete with HJC's every 15 minute service so withdrew their half hourly service. Perhaps it would be half hourly if they still ran it, or perhaps it'd be hourly - but at least people would know when to go out for the bus instead of standing for an hour at a bus stop.
