Rumours elsewhere are that 25 B7TLs are leaving West Yorkshire, as WY are not receiving new double decks they must be receiving a cascade as well as the new buses. Putting two and two together, maybe the current X78 vehicles in SY could be coming here?

While we are talking rumours the one I heard was that 36764 was repainted rather than a 12 plate was because the 12 plates might not be staying in Leeds

The 'original' 07 plates staying at Rotherham, and the 'ex Sheffield' 08/58 plates returning back there.

Now that would be nice. The best double deckers I've ever travelled on when living in Glasgow.

West Yorkshire are getting just 19 StreetLites (7 for Halifax & 12 for Bradford) and that's it. No new double deckers coming in 2015-16 order. Scotland, South Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Leicester & Bristol are the places these double deckers are going to. To be fair (apart from Manchester & South Yorkshire)it"s been 6 years since these places got new Double Deckers, in fact been 10 years since Leicester got any brand new buses!

First Scotland East are long overdue new deckers, they must have one of the oldest decker fleets in the country. The handful of Streetdeck's going there will be very well received. Although Leicester has not had new deckers for a decade, they did receive a sizeable batch of "58" plate ex-London E400's in the last couple of years, whereas the newest deckers cascaded to FSE tend to be elderly ex-London President's and ALX400's.

Do we know where the Various E400MMC models and E200MMCs are off??? E400MMCs are off to Bristol and Glasgow but according to British Bus Publishing, a sole E400MMC is for Queens Road, Manchester. E200MMCs are for Scotland generally.

Wonder if the e200MMC will take off. Also hope any operator introduces them and e400MMCs here in West Yorkshire. One of the Stagecoach Barnsley E200MMCs will no doubt make an appearance in WY at some point.

The seven new Streetlite's for Halifax are the Max versions in the 63xxx series, unlike the shorter 42xxx ones Huddersfield have. Some have arrived at Heysham docks, so expect them imminently. The first confirmed one at Heysham is numbered 63289. 63290/92 arrived today. Going to Hunslet imminently for Red Arrow paint job, while existing 66series Red Arrows will be going for transfer removal and full repaint. The 3 69 series ECLIPSE 2s are to be retained for use on 522/3.

During my previous travels on Glasgows 14 plates, they changed gear far too quickly on terrain that was relatively even. They might be well suited here, as they are unlikely to get the chance to change too soon going up the hills of Halifax, and quick changes will be ideal when coming back down again! This new stock will hopefully not be the last. Even some under 5 year old transfers from elsewhere would help the average age.

I think Halifax should get some of the 07 Reg 692** or 08 Reg Eclipses from Bradford. They could go on the 589/590/592 to join the Eclipse 2's or 548/549.

63293 was in the bus station today. Looked like driver training.
It's red arrow branded.
