Been on one of these bendys today & i think it is safe to say i have officially fell in love with them. Nice power and a good thrash noise. Gear changes sound similiar to the NC Volvo Olympians like 621-3 of Arrivas.

Correct, even though there has been allot of talk behind the crust that allot of the bendy buses from various parts of First are to follow suit and go to Dawson Rentals new Enterprise.

Lately been on 10042 & 43. Sound absoloutly terrible as though they have just come out of a scrapyard! & to think they calling this "overhauled"!

Overhauled but underneath and not from a passengers point of view. Passengers will not know any different. It might sound terrible but they will be no problems with them whatsoever.

No because no-one apart from bus enthusiasts listen to the engine carefully and don't match it up to the other ones.

Well, it's sure to be the scrap yard now for all those stored Leeds Bendi's when you take in this bit of news. Bus Eireann sold several of their B7LA year 2000 plate Bendi's to Ensign, they then quickly sold them to a scrap man! Yes 11 years old and sold for scrap, tells you how much of use their is for any Bendi bus!

Shame really but a 7 litre engine will get more worn been put in a much heavier vehicle.
