They might have some Yellow Vinyls on them as well. Did a man with a paintbrush tell you that? I think the one that requires a new engine is the one that hasn't moved for a while in HP and still requires painting. Yes the man with a Paint brush, however he appeared to be doing much more rubbing down than painting yesterday............ I understand the one with the engine problems is still with Volvo.

One was out, don't know which one, but one was out 'driver training' up by Engineering building today about 840AM today. Looked nice, thought thought they'd of done the destination scree to LED orange. Unless they are going to pressume that everyone will associate the livery and type of bus with the 95 service. Just like a person today "you always get these crappy buses on this bus" .. in reference to the 1 and ALX400 allocation's.

It was 10043. All drivers are having to have a refreshers course in driving them!

IIRC, am I right in thinking that the B7LAs couldn't be used within Bodington Hall because they kept grounding?

I can tell you the people on the 1 don't want them back! Complete nightmare around holt park and with the current slack in the timetable i very much doubt people want 2 bendis laying over alongside 2 6'S as in yesterdays situation.

The speed humps at Boddington Hall are being replaced with smaller ones buses can just drive over without grounding.

What about bendi driver trainers ? Where do you get these daft ideas? That's not a bad idea though if they could be used as driver trainers nationally, saves on possibly damaging a new bendi.

Well spread them around First Group, so drivers can train on bendi's.
They could make decent Airport buses. First have quite a few airport contracts.
2 Bendi buses could easily unload a Boeing 757.

Yes but strictly and logically Airports have already got there own motors, plus Airport work inside Airports is done by private contractors so can't see First venturing in to that fast.

Also, Airport Parking contracts pay well enough to have new motors on them every few years.
On the driver training point, it is pointless. Unless you have a huge amount of bendy buses, then yes. Do First? No.

The First thing, New Drivers want to be introduced to driving is a Bendy Bus. It would make it more harder for New bus drivers to pass strict regimes, and tests which include Turning corners and parking at bus stops properly and safely.
Then Again Ive never driven a bus, ;D
Thats why most Driver Trainers are Single Deckers, making it more easier to judge road rules and regulations. Try introducing a new driver from Car to 18 metre Bendy Bus. Scary for any newbie

They could be used to train existing drivers onto bendibuses.
