From the First service cancellations, could we assume that Centrebus have picked up these services?

Wonder if some of the timetable changes for First might be summer holiday times for services into Leeds, as less traffic congestion?

From what I've heard today, Bramley have lost lots of early morning and evening work on the 9/38/91 and also evening work on the 42.

Re Black Prince and evening work. The 770 used to be operated by BP in the 90s/00s, is it still tendered or do H&D operate it on a commercial basis? The 770 timetable says Evening / Sunday journeys between Wetherby and Leeds run with financial assistance from Metro

I'm surprised that the 15 is being cancelled - maybe the 508 is reverting to its original route and the 15 being increased to every 30 mins and being run by Centrebus / TLC? The 781 has lived an extended life, but it was an interesting rather quirky route - again could pass to TLC. I'm predicting the 8, 31/2 & 61 all go to Centrebus plus a few we do not know about yet.

I would have though that Geldards or indeed any operator with schools work would be interested in the 781. Nice easy service in between school times. Ideal contract for the small operator I would have thought

781 would have to be Low Floor operated wouldn't it? Geldards would struggle there.

I'm surprised that the 15 is being cancelled - . I'm not.Saw it on Saturday, and it was a single Decker- early Volvo. Not one passenger, and the one it did have on, was because the passenger just missed the 72 (bus i was on) by a second. Is it a policy to not let passengers on once door's have been shut, even if the bus has not yet set off?

I wonder if this means that some trips are going to be ran out of Leeds depot?

There has been little major news of late regarding the July changes - but expect some interesting developments to be revealed within the next 2 weeks!

Can you imagine a situation where the 40 service in an evening is shared between First and Centrebus? No, but it's going to happen, mainly because Centebus can't put guide wheels on their buses. Just a flavour of the weirdness that's coming up....

Just a flavour of the weirdness that's coming up.... Really? Is it going to be an hourly service each? I think they should be accepting both company's tickets on the service.

AIUI, Centrebus will do Pudsey to Leeds, then First will do the Leeds to Seacroft bit, presumably they'll be timed to connect with each other in town.

I thought that's what the Metro tickets and the Multiple operator tickets were for. Some of us have had to contend with this problem for a few years now. Welcome to real world outside of the First Bubble. I meant that on the basis that they were sharing the route with an houry service each for the whole length. As it happens, i disagree with my original post regarding the fares.

AIUI, Centrebus will do Pudsey to Leeds, then First will do the Leeds to Seacroft bit, presumably they'll be timed to connect with each other in town. Possibly not timed to connect with each other. Afterall, there are many other First alternatives to Pudsey from the Seacroft & Leeds areas. Afterall, you wont be getting to Pudsey on a "hop across Leeds" so theres no point in them being timed.
