Which might be a shock to people using the 343, 528, 531, 534, 557/559, 574, 577 and 832 during the day or the 537 or 560 in the morning.

One late change to take affect this weekend involving service 549:
The 2.45pm weekday journey from Huddersfield will be retimed to depart 5 minutes earlier at 2.40pm. In Hove Edge, Brighouse, this journey will also divert via Finkil Street and Halifax Road to serve Brighouse High School.

First's 33A Leeds - Otley will continue to serve Menston Village so the timetable will remain the same

As mentioned earlier, the afternoon short journeys on the Geldards 66B are a mystery to me as well. I'm not sure what they are for and I bet the ones on Saturdays are a mistake and won't actually run.

You've got to feel sorry for the unlucky two at First's Halifax depot. 18 jobs have been transferred to Bramley following Centrebus taking over some First routes, while two have been made redundant. www.halifaxcourier.co.uk/news/First-switch-saves-18-bus.6011166.jpAs for Centrebus/Huddersfield Bus, day tickets are available for £4 and weekly tickets for £14 in Calderdale and Kirklees areas. No mention on whether they can be used on K-Line services or the full length of the 85/85A and 528, although it is likely that the latter will be true. It would make sense if they could be used on K-Line, given that they run the only Centrebus Holdings daytime links between Calderdale and Huddersfield (343 and 900/901). Centrebus are also offering a 15% discount on return fares when two adults travel together, quite cleverly called Tango (takes two to tango, plus tango orange = Centrebus livery).

With the 18 jobs going to Bramley doe"s mean that the 508 service has been transfer to Bramley?

Well I thought Arriva had got it wrong with the changes to the 281/2/3 routes. Daytime 282 now runs Fieldhead Estate to Dewsbury only, which means Thornhillites must now change if they wish to visit the hospital. Should Arriva have changed the 281 to terminate in Dewsbury instead?
Now I have heard complaints about this odd change, but it seems the operator wants to blame the change on Metro - eh and why?
Perhaps they will make that change in April? Okay, maybe not.

Could be possible to switch the 281 and 282 around, although it would mean a longer waiting time at Dewsbury (25 mins on 281 compared to 2 mins on 282). Not sure where the 'blame Metro' bit can come in. If it was their proposal, surely there would have been something mentioned in a WYITA meeting, talking about the impact a subsided change would make on passengers.

Doses the 282 still run on evenings and on Sundays as there is no 281 on sundays and evenings, this would result in a loss of half hour servise to 1 an hour between Dewsbury and Thornhill.

The 282 runs hourly Thornhill - Dewsbury - Dewsbury Hospital - Fieldhead and the 283 runs hourly Thornhill - Dewsbury - Bradford in the evenings and Sunday Thus the evening service remains the same 2 buses per hour Thornhill - Dewsbury including the 282 link to the Hospital lost during the day

Not sure where the 'blame Metro' bit can come in. If it was their proposal, surely there would have been something mentioned in a WYITA meeting, talking about the impact a subsided change would make on passengers. The 281 and 282 could be switched round in Dewsbury without even changing the time table. 282 arrives ex Fieldhead/Batley at 02 and 32 while the 281 arrives at 06 and 36 departing for Thornhill at 09 and 39. That would add an additional 4 mins recovery time in Dewsbury. Towards Batley/Fieldhead the 282 departs Dewsbury 04 and 34 the current 281 arrives ex Thornhill at 57 and 27 leaving Dewsbury at 01 and 31, again this would increase the recovery time in Dewsbury by 3 mins in Dewsbury. Potential downside is that currently the 282 could turn within the 2 min window at Dewsbury. Swapping the 281/2 if the 282 turns within the 2 minute window would add a bus to the cycle. Not sure yet how and if the 282 is interworking at Dewsbury and it could be this which might be the Metro issue

The following Arriva services terminate at Dewsbury: 126/127, 128, 129, 205, 212, 213, 268.
Looking at the timetables, the 126/127 probably interwork with other, as does the 268 and probably the 213. 128 could interwork with the 129 or 205/212, which would leave the 282 on its own.
List of services with its arrival and departure times: *126/127: Arrives 02, 12, 22, 32, 42, 52; Departs 00, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 *128: Arrives 38; Departs 15 *129: Arrives 11; Departs 43 *205: Arrives 50; Departs 45 *212: Arrives 10; Departs 55 *213: Arrives 25; Departs 30 *268 (weekdays): Arrives 02, 14, 26, 38, 50; Departs 00, 12, 24, 36, 48 *268 (Saturdays): Arrives 14, 29, 44, 59; Departs 05, 20, 35, 50 *282: Arrives 02, 34; Departs 04, 34

Prior to the current changes the only interworking at Dewsbury was associated with the following: 128 Wakefield and return to 212 Wakefield and return followed by 205 Pudsey and return. Although the cycle was broken around lunchtime when Heckmondwike worked the 11:55 212. The 213 had it's 2 buses but timings were tight

No new H&D 36 timetable so Metros announcement of a Saturday timetable change from today seems to have been erronous.

I can't absolutely swear to this as they were all ex First Bradford B7TL's and I couldn't remember which was where, but I'm sure at least some of the 508's I saw today were Leeds based buses.
Thought I saw 37062 for one and some other 3704x's. One I think was 37048 which was at Halifax last time I looked but thought I saw a lower numbered 3704x as well which would be Leeds. Has the 508 switched to First Leeds or joint operation?

Yes I know that, but not 37043-37047 and 37060 -37062 and I thought I saw two of these, maybe I was mistaken, I suppose 37062 could have been 37052 as I was driving up the other side of Stanningley Road at the time.
