I thought sapphire buses were supposed to have a rear destination board too, 1504 doesn’t !! Reading into why the bus is going back to be fixed , maybe they should have got Thornton’s to do the refurb. I doubt they would have just painted over the rusty areas!

1500 now back at Selby in Sapphire livery. Has it had the full refurb done or the half of one like 1504?

These buses won’t be having the white front display or the full rear display. They won’t say why but as far as I’m concerned it’s just to save money as it’s Selby, this also applies to bits and bobs on the interior. Still look nice though and they do look better now.

I saw 1507 the other day. Looks very smart but didn't seem to have the darker blue interior like 110 branded Gemini 1546.

It will actually be that bit tricker to do the rear destination change on 1500-1507 due to the upper brake/indicator clusters they all have.

Hopefully now that they have all come back from refurb the 402/3's can have the 1800's back seen as that's what they are supposed to be on (Posh and Decks) - Im sick of seeing the Lowlands on the 403's.

That mean now that all the buses Selby have on loan will be returning back to their depots? That’s good for the lowlanders but bad for the pulsars loved driving them and passengers loved them

Its a shame the same investments could not have been put into the service between Selby and Leeds... I’d like to see the Darwen’s maxed , they are the best looking buses in the fleet ! Wish dewsbury still had them!
