AY Heckmondwike decker 1605 developed a minor fault working the 12:10 '254' service from Wakefield to Leeds today. Made a detour to the depot on arrival at Heckmondwike so passengers could change to 1600 which was 'spare bus' in the depot.

I know its not a break down but thought I'ld ask in here...
Dose anyone happen to know the reg of the First Halifax (Service 508) Volvo Wright Eclipse that was stuck in the snow along with about 10 cars on Leeds Bradford Road near Bramley Fall woods at around half 12 last night?
I remember seeing the Driver was sat in the cab and he had the Hazards flashing. I went past it and got all the way up the hill to Stanningley but whilst doing so I forgot to get its reg or fleet No.

No vehicle number but a b7 on the number 1 at 4.10pm in Leeds heading towards Holt Park shouldn't have even got as far as it did judging by the state it was in, high revving engine appearing to be stuck in first gear, the engine was spluttering and smoking and it cut out in the middle of Neville Street but re started after a couple of grinding attempts! This bus was a hazard to other motorists because of the smoke and sudden cutting out.

Huddersfield Bus Co 05 plate failed in Netherton this morning on 231 towards Wakefield about 8:00, perplexed driver scratching his head at the rear, looked to be rather low down so it could be a suspension problem.
