I Was on 36197 this morning on the 42. It broke down at Eastgate white smoke was coming out the rear. The bus had overheated, driver had asked everyone to leave the bus. At that time another 42 36195 appeared which everyone else including myself boarded.

Saw an AY ALX400 at a bus stop on Leeds Road, Oulton (possibly on the 410), with a fire engine behind. No sign of any damage but the front panel underneath the cab window was off, any idea what's happened to it?

Transdev Harrogate tweeted this evening that another operator bus had broken down blocking the exit from Harrogate Bus Station, presume it must be odds on a HCT/Connexions/Roadrunner/pile of rubbish was the culprit yet again

Turns out it was, to quote the person who told me, indeed "a ******* dodgy green bus" , its becoming a bit too frequent and could their maintenance schedule not being able to keep up the expanding empire which is looking more and more like Premiere were Nottingham. Certainly do not get the X1, the only one that passed me in the opposite direction when I travelled from Harrogate to Knaresborough just after 8am on Thursday had a solitary passenger.

What is becoming a bit too frequent is the number of dodgy green buses breaking down at the entrance or exit to Harrogate Bus Station, you never hear of them breaking down at other bus stations e.g Ilkley, Otley or Wetherby.
