Is this route branding? There doesn't seem to be any reference to 760 or the route on the artists impression?

In theory, the 7 wheelchair access B10's (1044/7/8/9/51 94/95) would be used to cover 6 diagrams on 717/719 (when they all have LED blinds for the ASDA 719 service). Even though these services no longer interwork they could advertise them both as being Wheelchair access again. 2701/3 joined by 2704/6 for 760 allong with 451 - 455 (9 vehicles for 8 diagrams) 563/4 earmarked for withdrawal after 451/2 are ready, with another B10 and a Step entrance double deck withdrawn (the one that is used on the daytime 760 diagram) when 2704/6 arrive. That would leave 9 X reg B10's for 696/7 (5 diagrams) and 500, 663/4/5 (4 diagrams) with 1 spare from 717/719, 1 spare from 760, 1 spare from the 8 B7RLE's used on 66, 762/5 services (7 diagrams) to cover. This is of course only hypothetically...

Are 2704 and 2706 definately transferring to Keighley? Would assume some diagram changes would need to be made to ensure 760 remains 100% low floor as currently the 1657 from Keighley is about a 50/50 split between a B10 and a Volvo Olympian. Also assuming changes would be made to the 1633 Greengates - Keighley unless its going to be advertised as a non-low floor bus.

I'm taking this from the original post which states that these are the new 760 colours Maybe they will spread the livery to the whole fleet but Harrogate & District have started their new livery on just the Route 1 buses and only state on the website that "The new look could well be extended to other buses in our fleet" I assume Keighley & District will be using the same strategy.

I hear that 2704/6 will be transferred, then again i heard they may go to Harrogate so nothing set in stone yet. 451 is mid way through repaint into the new colours, i heard a strong roumor that only one B10BLE will be withdrawn when 451/2 enter traffic, the other vehicle being yellow Olympian 349 (B517UWW). Apparently the Double Deck allocation is too high so could stop the Double Decks being dumped on 760 when they are short. I would imagine the 1633 will be advertised as a non-low-floor journey as works off a school service.

As they are now pool buses, being used all over the place as and when needed, you'd think they could remove the fleetnames and route branding.

Lancashire dart 651, recently used in Keighley in Spot on livery (whilst Bingley Ireland Bridge is closed) has been sold apparently. The shortfall being absorbed into the current fleet for the time being. Heard a strong rumour that soon its place they will be getting an old B6 that is however a rumour at the moment. Staying in Keighley, Olympian/ECW 349 (B517UWW) has been withdrawn leaving just 3 of the type left. 372 in Green, 385 in Yellow, and of course 389 in Blue/White. This is after the arrival of 451 - expect 563 to go when 452 is finished! New HSE regulations in force regarding the parking of vehicles in the depot (they have to be a metre apart) means that some of the yellow school fleet is now based with the My-Buses in the Timothy Taylors yard on the outskirts of Keighley. So far it has been two of the Yellow NCME/Volvo's (cant remember the numbers) and 385. The fleet now based down there is My-Bus 204, 210, 530/1, 540-4, 557, 561, 562, 1001 - 1004, 1039, 1041, 1129, and Urban Cool 208/9 (on loan from Lancashire whilst Ireland Bridge is closed). 9xx (x2) & 385.

Former Keighley 224 (M259KWK), Volvo B6/Alexander Dash - now numbered 679 - ex Northern Blue has arrived back in Keighley after an absence of about 5 years. It is painted all over white and has LED rear lights. This is for use in place of 651 (mentioned above) and understand will be used on 720/727/9 services until July.

Here is a photo of the double deckers which have been relocated, an additional bus has been added from the list above so now include 964, 983, 984 and 385. This picture does show, as discussed on another thread, just how much shorter the ECW bodywork on these Olympians is. www.flickr.com/photos/35759580@N03/4429548526/

Been to Keighley this morning and noticed that Keighley & District have Wright Renown bodied Volvo B10BLE 205 operating route 664 in full Spot On livery. How long has this been in Keighley, just noticed that it has been mentioned in the Misallocations thread. www.flickr.com/photos/35759580@N03/4588400539/

I spotted it on the 27th heading into Keighley with no desty blind, and my fiancee spotted it in the bus station a couple of days ago.

Harrogates B6BLE 609, now recognisible for its "parking mad" rear promotion, has for too long now been loudly whistling - wondered if anyone knew why. It has obviously had attention in recent months as apart from the repaint it has had its previous virtually invisible display fixed but not the whistling.

Theres a photo on Flickr of 2709 withdrawn at Starbeck, leaving 2708 and 2714 to plod on with T H&D emblazed on them in contrast to the rest of the service fleet being T in H, however the newly issued school service timetables are all headed T H&D.

God knows if this has been reported but H&D now have SN59AWW i presume on trials to see if they can keep to time and maybe H&D looking at using another type/chassis which can perform better than B7TL's! eebpixs.fotopic.net/p66179263.html

Keighley & District have finished using Spot On 205 (T125OAH), and will shortly be dispatched back to Blackburn. As repaints have now started on the Zone Darts, Volvo B6LE/Wright 643 (P643UUG) has now arrived as paint float in plain white though is yet unused
