621-3 should be leaving Selby depot April time when all the cuts come into force then 109/652/676-686 will have left Selby depot by early June when Lowlanders arrive which will be 13 out 13 in not including Olympians

may have been better to send the Presidents to Hecky so they are all under one roof and move their Spectras to Wakey to join their speccys!

I hope the Oly's stay at Selby, it's nice seeing them in York now and again. Wonder if Arriva will bring all B10BLE's back to Selby and send Dart's elsewhere.

You might like seeing them, there are proper passengers who don't like them in Selby. would like to thank the lady driving the goole bus from selby at 7.10pm on friday! For changing buses so we could get our pram on it as it was a bus with the two steps. We really appreciate it Extract from the Arriva Facebook pages

I hope the Oly's stay at Selby, it's nice seeing them in York now and again. Wonder if Arriva will bring all B10BLE's back to Selby and send Dart's elsewhere. Don't get me wrong, the Volvo Olympians were great buses. They were great buses. But they are now long past their prime, and unlike the rest of the Selby fleet they are not low floor, which causes problems when they turn up on routes that "always" have low floor vehicles. You might like them from an enthusiast's point of view, but passengers who travel on them don't, and would almost without fail prefer something made this side of 1996. But yes, it would be nice to see the B10BLEs brought back to replace B7TLs and Darts on the interurban routes. They will be stuck with those lovely Darts unless the weight limit on Cawood Bridge is increased. They only need 3 Darts for the 42, there's no reason why they need to keep more than that (although it's hard to see the justification for using heavier and more expensive buses on the 4, 7, 8, 492/493).

When the Alx300s first arrived they worked the 126/127 I remember the first time I went on one the driver couldn't get the handbrake off so we all waited for the next one and same happen on that one but then a Leyland Lynx appeared and I went home on that one, they are slow to move off, they are nicknamed "Snails" and the best feature were the fish tank windows (Think about that one) I must admit I am surprised that the step entrance Spectras are still with AY could North Wales be a retirement home for them ? . What ever comes for the 126/127 I hope its got real seats and goes well any takers ? Just a thought Spectra Mk3 If only

Arriva have asked for 40 odd new buses this year, as well as we know about Dewsbury deckers Wakey could new Enviros for 110/ and there part of the 126/127. Hecky want some Enviros for 254/5 meening Optares and some of ALX300s going. (not finalised yet!)

Arriva have ordered 110 buses, not 40 odd I think the 40 odd are just for Arriva Wakefield and some are left over from orders from 2010, the Enviros for example

I can't remember an order being made by Arriva during 2010, wasn't the last group order made in 2009?
