No sign so far anywhere that those CT plus services are going to be covered by any operator, if an operator isn't interested when they first came up then I doubt they will be now so I bet these are all withdrawn. What about the 377/8 though between Huddersfield and Mount? I tend to see there buses really busy.

Remember they've been put out for tender so we wont be finding out till middle of this week at the earliest.

It’ll be that nobody has spare drivers rather than them having an issue with the services themselves. Unlike when Yellow Buses went out of business there isn’t a obvious big group of drivers going from the closed operator to only one real alternative. Back when they were originally tendered in 2020 they had between 2 and 4 operators interested www.wymetro.com/media/6117/kirklees-batch-683-may-2020.pdf

They had a good couple of routes with potential (377/378 & the 341) Can almost guarantee that these routes will be picked up. I also don't think running those routes would take up too many drivers? Maybe 2-3?

So this is from memory and might not be entirely accurate. 377/378 with one driver on each from 7am to 6pm 341 with one driver only running every 2-3 hours from 7am to 9pm.

These were the registered Times
341 Departures from Stocksmoor 0640(M-F)/0750(M-F)/0931/1131/1406/1606/1806/2006
Departures from Huddersfield 0715(M-F)/0855/1055/1330/1530/1730/1930
377 Departures from Mount 0813/0918/1018/1118/1218/1318/1418/1518/1618/1718
Departures from Huddersfield 0850/0950/1050/1150/1250/1350/1450/1650/1750
378 Departures from Mount 0748/0848/0948/1048/1148/1248/1348/1448/1548/1648/1748/1848
Departures from Huddersfield 0820/0920/1020/1120/1220/1320/1420/1520/1620/1720/1820
341 = 7.5 round trips (M-F)/6 round trips Saturday 377 = 10 round trips 378 = 11.5 round trips
Will service be stood while driver on break? Where would drivers take breaks?

Nahh mate they all interworked under TLC and & CT Plus. Under Tiger/Centerbus the 341 and 377/378 had a regular vehicle each which which stayed out all day but drivers would swap over. 354/355 was same under Stotts too.

Surprised to see how Tiger bided for the 354/355 over the 377/8.

Hmmm. I wonder what the route change to the 64 is? The switch back to getting in and out of Skipton via The Bailey means they can put double deckers on it, so can't imagine it being anything at that end. Only thing I can think of would be the journeys to and from Otley using Leeds Road instead of Valley Drive in Ilkley maybe? The route change is it no longer runs between Otley and Ilkley. There is an additional earlier journey from Skipton to Ilkley. images.transdevbus.co.uk/downloads/64%2C%20873%20%26%20884%20Web%20TT%204-Sep-2022_1.pdf

We're adding a new journey from Skipton to Ilkley at 7.32am calling at Addingham at 7.47am. This journey is ideal for students of Ilkley Grammar School. Students can then return on the re-timed 3.17pm bus to Skipton. Journeys will finish at Ilkley and will no longer run through to Otley.

it's not even the final one as they are waiting on confirmation for some of Connexions school routes.

Surely the X10 is Stagecoach, Barnsley is a long way from Tockwith!

From 2019, when TLC lost 303/304/317/396 until March 2020, when lockdown started, the vehicles worked like this, and then when CT Plus, returned to normal working December 2020 until recently. Bus 1 - 354(355)/375 (TLC 1930 341) Bus 2 - 341/374 Bus 3 - 378 (CT Plus 1930 341) Bus 4 - 377 These I know are correct, cos I did final duties for TLC that changed in 2019, and CT Plus kept the same duties, albeit adding an extra 1.5 trips on 378, and putting last 341 onto that.

Some interesting turn of events: From September changes the 579 will have a timetable change so this might have gone from once every 10 minutes to every 30 minutes. Temporary changes to 521/522/523 due to driver shortages, knowing First this won't be temporary. As well as this the 372 will receive a revised frequency.
There will also be several changes to services with First Leeds Leeds, there are a lot so someone else can talk about them on here.

Your always quick to slate First at every opportunity, as it happens there are only minor timetable changes, funny though how Transdev never come in for the same scrutiny ?

Because Transdev have been relentless in trying reclaim custom since covid. They don't just give in. First will give in at the very 'First' opportunity.

It's still every 20 minutes. The frequency of the 372 isn't changing either. The changes to the 521/2/3 are also very minor.

Hopefully the masses of cuts that were due to happen have been put off due to the bus grants being extended. If not then I think I'd really start to question where the money is going.

Possibly because First pay drivers a decent living wage with progression onto higher rates , ask your Team Pennine friends about that !!!
