SK71XKX is their for "approx six weeks" according to WYIS so presumably either to make the 12 a fully double decker operation with 2019 ( subject to avaialablity) or to allow 2019 or 1867 to go somewhere else

Think they could do with 2019 at Harrogate anyway.

(Obviously if they are using dds just because they are the buses that they have available, that's a different matter...)

Arrived at the new York depot site at Rawcliffe is ADL demonstrator E400MMC SK71 CKX No fleet number given yet however I Imagine it will be allocated 2020. Pic of the vehicle has emerged on Mr Hornbys Twitter Double deckers for York & Country know that is odd!

Transdev Harrogate appear to have a Wright Electroliner on trial. I saw it as I drove past the bus station tonight.

“ You will probably be able to try the seats out as the vehicle working the afternoon S8 then works the final three route 8 workings; 1621 K'boro-W'by, 1655 W'by-H'gate & 1750 H'gate-K'boro.” I’m not sure it does ( anymore ? ). According to BusTimes, it didn’t today (5/oct). 2103 did the S8 and 3613 did the last three 8’s. If bustimes is right 2103 Starfish was used on the 1621 to Wetherby and 1655 return today

That's a bit of a shame, and it's unusual for Transdev to have a mixed allocation of vehicles in the same brand. *Pure speculation*: but I wonder if the other two MMCs will eventually be replaced with B7RLEs and they'll end up on the Aireline 60 with its PVR increase from September? Maybe that's just me wishing.

WYIS are actually reporting a comment made somewhere online "It's mentioned online that two of Harrogate's Sky Class buses used on the X98/9 are to transfer to Burnley with their place at Harrogate taken by two Volvo B7RLE's that are being repainted into X98/9 livery" which may or may not be correct.

Oh right, well that changes things significantly. It was a kid who posted that on 'Transdev Enthusiasts' with their source (when asked) being 'Transdev Group'...

WYIS don’t seem to have inside information anymore and just report stuff from elsewhere and sightings on BusTimes
