I see they were both out on test yesterday in Halifax Bit hard to see but looked like just a paint job the seats looked the same happy to be corrected though ! The seats have a retrim into the generic transdev seating and have usb ports at the seat backs. I wonder what they have changed the yellow around the USB sockets to pink.

I see it has been refurbished and seats given Transdev moquette. However, these still look to be thin, hard seats.

You will probably be able to try the seats out as the vehicle working the afternoon S8 then works the final three route 8 workings; 1621 K'boro-W'by, 1655 W'by-H'gate & 1750 H'gate-K'boro. 2103 has been in use as well as 2101, the S3 also seeing them, but no pictures seem to have surfaced of it; I am thinking each may have a different graphic theme because an early tweet concerning them by Alex Hornby had a birds graphic. As such maybe the odd seeming Starboard graphic on the "port" side of 2101 might actually turn out to be the name of 2101 - the bird theme one probably being 'Starling'.

I’m not sure it does ( anymore ? ).

According to BusTimes, it didn’t today (5/oct). 2103 did the S8 and 3613 did the last three 8’s.

WYIS are reporting the ex Rossendale B7RLE 1712 as having been withdrawn at Harrogate. Probably true that it's leaving Harrogate as they are renewing their fleet atm but I think 1712 will deffo go further use elsewhere. Possibly to Keighley bus or Team Pennine.

1712 is 19 years old in Dec, 1713 is 20 years old next May and 1701-1705/1800 are 19 years old next June.

If Bustimes tracking is right as there have been a number of strange entries recently another "Starbus" is in use at Harrogate - 2104, 2101 however does not seem to hove worked for a month.

1713 is now listed as being withdrawn at Starbeck by WYIS, and together with already withdrawn 1712 is listed as being disposed of. Meanwhile 1800, the original 36 branded B7RLE, and 1871 'Harrogate Heroes' according to Bustimes tracking have not worked for a month.

There will obviously be a shuffle when the Electrics turn up but the Shuttle B7RLEs along with a number of the Harrogate Route 1 ones are only three years younger and as noted above two slightly older B7RLEs have been withdrawn. The ride quality of a B10BLEs in IMO is far superior to the B7RLEs and they were all refurbished in 2018/2019.

The Versas off Flyer would be my guess to be cascaded to Burnley
There are also B10BLEs on the “Valley Line” in Blackburn as well

Seems that more of the refurbished ex NCT Scanias are at Harrogate although WYIS and Bustimes are in dispute as to which; 2102 according to WYIS, 2104 and 2106 according to Bustimes - none of them as yet appear to have been photoed by Flickerites.

Both bustimes and WYIS (and others) sometimes believe what they see/read. Eg 2102 didn’t run on Flower show in April as bustimes says and VDL 2204 hasn’t gone for scrap despite WYIS reporting Bus Fayre says it went to an unknown dealer! Partons have bought the recent scrap disposals rather than PVS.

Their is some weird tracking on Bustimes so is probable ticket machines have had the wrong vehicle number entered in them. 3617 for example is listed as working both 36s and S3s at the same time on Thursday. Whenever I have notified WYIS of something I have linked a photo to confirm the matter - maybe they ought to make that a requiremeny.

Hi all what happened to 2201 YG52 CFX did it go for scarp or is stored somewhere? It was meant to be refurbished and used on schools but that seems to have been cancelled a while back... It is labeled as SORN on WYIS? Not too sure what that means but hopefully it helps, also mentions that it is apparently stored in Blackburn? www.wyis.org.uk/_files/ugd/c5cac4_8360f0c06c6844289a6ca0fb26a7ce15.pdf
