Hi all what happened to 2201 YG52 CFX did it go for scarp or is stored somewhere? It was meant to be refurbished and used on schools but that seems to have been cancelled a while back... It is labeled as SORN on WYIS? Not too sure what that means but hopefully it helps, also mentions that it is apparently stored in Blackburn? www.wyis.org.uk/_files/ugd/c5cac4_8360f0c06c6844289a6ca0fb26a7ce15.pdfMeans it’s parked on scrap row at the back of Intack depot Most Transdev withdrawn buses end up there as they have a big yard

SORN = Statutory Off Road Notification. A vehicle either has to have be licenced for use on the road or have a SORN and kept off road. WYIS attempt to identify those which are withdrawn and being disposed of by listing them in italics in contrast to those stored which the list now includes 1871 'Harrogate Heros' which is also SORN. Judging from bustimes Starbus 2102 has finally arrived at Starbeck.

Quite an interesting fleet change as of today:
One of the Rosso Transdev Go livery Volvo B7RLE Plaxton Centros are being used at Elland depot. The vehicle is 1762 - BF60 UVK.
Also Waterloo Team Pennine liveried vehicles seem to be swapping frequently on to Elland, anyone know the reason for this?
In the past few days I have seen 727, 729, 773 and 775 being used at Elland.

As you'll probably be aware, 1762 is ex-Blackpool Transport.

Seems that a few Optare Solo SRs have been purchased for Team Pennine, I was wondering what would replace the excessive amount of Optare Solo buses that have been withdrawn lately.

The incoming SRs will replace most of the remaining unrefurbished Solos as far as I know.

York Enviro 200 753 (24 Nov) York Versa 210 (5 Nov)
Both of these have major RTA damage and will be off for some time.

Gemini 3613 appears to be back in use at Harrogate. I missed 18 1/2 year old B7RLE 1800 off the list posted earlier, it has apparently tracked on Bustimes but they are all erronous since its last properly logged journey on possibly 14 Oct unless it did have an outing on school workings on 28 Nov but that was probably a wrongly coded ticket machine.

And then there was five - 804 is the latest of Harrogates Electrics to be involved in a RTA.

Can someone explain why has 166 moved to Team Pennine when they are already getting 191 - 198 to replace the Solos.

But Versas are liked by Alex so I don't think he will get rid of them. Also they are one of the few vehicles that actually perform well on hills and considering Halifax is a very hilly area having versas will be useful to when eclipses on the 502 or 587 are not available.

We shall have to see but I understand the plan is to replace all remaining orange buses (and 169). After the three replaced by the B7s there are Solos and two Versas unrefurbished. Eight SRs are replacing some, leaving five others. 165/6 are probably too long for much of the Solo work so replacing 201/2 seems logical. 201 is nearly 15 years old which is pushing it for a Versa.

But Versas are liked by Alex so I don't think he will get rid of them. They have removed a number of Versas from the fleet, for example 201 previously was YJ57XWK which originally 271 a Spot On Liveried vehcile which ended up at York and was sold to Midland Classic.

The Harrogate Electrics are becoming very scarce. By mid afternoon 806 was out of service leaving just 802, 807 and 808 serviceable.
