The uniform is grey shirt, grey trousers & a grey tie... I heard colour of tie might change though (possibly orange)

Blimey I bet the drivers thought the uniform was greyt! Oh and worse still, thanks to that 50 shades of grey book, I bet those with partners will be giving their partners a daily reminder...... you can just imagine the conversation at breakfast, this uniform is getting horrid in more ways than just the colour!

The new livery looks great and is a welcome addition to the streets of West Yorkshire. Its a shame that the K-Line scruffy rag bags are going to remain, not sure why everyone is so keen for it to remain, the buses look a bit tatty, the drivers look like they've been dragged through a hedge and dragged back again and operate to their own timetable, stop where they want and generally do what they want when they want!! Besides its not uncommon for, the now defunct, Centrebus buses to tip up on K-Line services, is this kind of thing to end now? Only the other day I saw a old 'Centrebus' on the 317 service.

I personally think k-line should modify their livery but keep the name. Nothing dramatic maybe a bit more colour or add some colour to their current one. Sent from my GT-N7100 using proboards

Don't think that Kline are changing there brand at all as I have come across this photo on Flickr showing 233 YJ51 XSH which has been recently repainted into there livery www.flickr.com/photos/billogs/10359120784/

I really don't see the point in retaining K-Line. It's a 20 year old livery and doean't appear to attract any goodwill from passengers. I don't think passengers would let a First bus go by and wait for K-Line (unlike Longstaff for example).
Seems like a very odd decision.

Seems perfectly sensible to me.
The HBC/Centrebus name has little value due to the short time it was used, so a change (certainly for the Centrebus bits) aint a bad idea.
As for K-Line, it's a long established brand and will be well known to some.
My mum, for example, still refers to Keighley & District as 'the red bus' and First as 'the green bus', so brand identity cannot be underestimated.

I'm begining to wonder when K Line were first bought whether K Line's previous owner put a clause in the sale for the K Line brand to continue even when sold on?

Yes, or the old owner of K Line is still in the background somewhere working for the company. The name just doesn't mean anything - what does the K stand for anyway; was it someones name? Awful livey, awful name, I think Yorkshire Tiger, although an odd name itself would be more recognisable than "K-Line".

Although not really respected.....the image of K-Line is pretty tatty and unprofessional, get em re-sprayed!! I did get a the K-Line service 366 today upto work and there was a revenue protection inspection going on, the bloke had a Yorkshire Tiger high viz jacket on.
