That's certainly a left field name they've come up with there. Who would have thought of that.

Someone said it sounded like a rugby team, I agree... Maybe tried to make the fleetname sound like Yorkshire 'Rider'. Kinda reminds me of low-cost airline Tiger Airways in Australia! LOL

I cannot see many Leeds Weekly Tickets being sold at £45!!!!! pity the fares weren't checked before they went to press.
I wonder if the child fares will be referred to as Tiger Cub Tickets...........
No mention of K-Line, just Centrebus and Huddersfield Bus Co. operations!!!!!!

No mention of K-Line, just Centrebus and Huddersfield Bus Co. operations!!!!!! Also the 'Network Ticket' I think is referring to a Midlanda based ticket. Looks like there is a bit of proof reading lacking in this, and has mainly just been copied and pasted from the old Centrebus site.

The map includes K-Line services though. I'd be a shame to see the K-Line name and livery go.

Think K-Line are staying "as is", livery and branding wise. The HBC, Centrebus (Elland) and White Rose (Leeds) operations are the ones that will be united in the new Yorkshire Tiger name and livery. AFAIK K-Line are still operating with Teamdeck legals. The new name should give rise to a thousand puns in their forthcoming advertising campaigns. I sincerely hope this isn't the last we've heard from dwarfer79 on the subject of this company, because i gather he's a Centrebus employee based in Leicester and without wishing to appear like im p***ing up his back, his contributions on this company have proved invaluable.

Looks like there is a bit of proof reading lacking in this, and has mainly just been copied and pasted from the old Centrebus site. That would appear to have significant content copied from the Centrebus website though not all is. The Network ticket, is as it's name suggests, a ticket valid across the network and was valid in West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire & Greater Manchester - Yorkshire Tiger will need an equivalent for journeys outside West Yorkshire I presume. I assume they will need to set up their own agreements with Payzone in time and review their fare structures (though I presume that will need to wait until their new ticket machines are up and running which Centrebus are still assisting with) as some of the products, such as the Travel Club, were issued centrally and Yorkshire don't have any stocks to issue - they may decide to retain these products but they will need to procure their own stocks. driver 6540 - Thanks for your comments but unfortunately this will significantly reduce what I can add to the site as other than occasional visits to my sister in Yorkshire my connection with the area is much severed and there will be less to contribute though I will remain an interested observer and may still manage occasional visits.

I would also like to endorse driver6540's comments re dwarfer79 for all the additional inside information he was able to share with us all and I too found the contributions about Centrebus to be invaluable.

Anyone else get annoyed with the lack of capital Y & T on yorkshire tiger? Not worth bothering about. Companies have long used stylised versions of words that should have been capitalised or have been over capitalised. The old 'InterCity' branding is one that immediately springs to mind.

Quite a stylish look it has to be said. Nice livery, branding, logo, a professional job.
I can't wait to see a black and red version of that tiger logo on the next new Metro timetables!

Wonder what they will do for the Airport services which are supposed to be in a distinctive livery, its going to look a bit odd having a tiger next to an aircraft!

Huddersfield Bus Company is no more. It has been registered at companies house and with VOSA as Yorkshire Tiger LTD. Wonder if the Leeds depot and routes will be transferred over in time.
