Presume the reappearance of 611 is down to poor availability of the Versas once again, anyone know how the two Merc engined ones at Burnley, which were meant for Harrogate, are doing. Maybe they need to transfer them to Harrogate.

It might be an idea to say "stored for transfer" rather than withdrawn when that is the case.
As for TLT- all I will say is to meet DDA deadlines 57 new/used LF double decks (by 2017) and 13 LF single decks (by 2015) are required. They will have to start buying off lease or cascading from London.

If it was economical to upgrade the Route 36 "53" plate Volvos why not a 06 plate one. Is there a problem with this one!

Yes, the fact that it was on (what clearly is) a 6 year lease and not theirs to refurb. Hence the new '62 plate arriving to replace it, which at a guess will depart in 2018 unless Transdev have a re-think on their vehicle allocations etc.

When the lease finished though they could have bought it dirt cheap.

When the lease finished though they could have bought it dirt cheap. Not necessarily it all depends on the terms of the lease.

LJX 198- which is why Transdev should themselves have bought it off lease- it would prove cheaper than buying new. As Ive said before, if I was a dealer I would be saving all he mid-life buses Transdev had returned off lease and sell them back at a profit when the Transdev bunny finally sees the headlights in late 2016.

Why would it be going dirt cheap?
Surely it would be quite expensive considering the high spec interior and well regarded one careful owner?
Probably too expensive for Transdev who only require cheap ex-London low floors to replace Olympians on schools. They have no use for such a high spec vehicle.

If it was cheap enough, I'm sure Transdev would have gone for it. Obviously they thought the NBV was less than what Santander want for it. I'm sure it would've been in Santander's interest to dispose of it to Transdev also.

If the new 3613 (which I think should've been numbered 3615) was trialled on X43, could this mean that possibly new B9 Gemini2s could end up on there in the future and sending the current lot onto other routes or to York for 844 :-D (wishful thinking though)
