Are all of 36183-280 really going to operate from Hunslet? Brilliant news for local residents, and quite handy for us being able to locate them so easily. However, it will create a big imbalance in age profiles for different garages' fleets. Besides, I would love First Manchester to run 12-reg E400s on route 184 from Mcr to Huddersfield, and First WY 12-reg Volvo B9TLs on route X6 on to Leeds! The 12 reg B9TL's are allocated to Leeds and the X6 is operated by Bradford, So it is unlikely you will see any on the X6. In answer to your question, 36183-280 are not going to be operating from Leeds. They are First Manchester buses, the majority allocated to Oldham. Therefore it's quite likely you'll see them on the 184.

There are B9TL's transferring out of Oldham to Dukinfield (Pioneer), Bolton and Wigan depots and possibly some to WY (whereabouts is currently uncertain). It is likely Hudds B9TL's 37288/9, will remain there, as they are currently utilised on any route requiring a LF decker and not just solely on the 184. There is a number of B9TL's at Oldham in the new livery with the revised 180/4 branding just recently applied, therefore it is unlikely they are candidates for transfer. (Although anything is possible with First). As posted above, there is very little likelihood of WY getting any E400's. Any E400's seen at WY depot's will probably be just passing through or used in marketing campaigns etc. Just as an aside, there is now a First Manchester column. Perhaps we'd be better off using that, than risking the wrath of the dedicated WY watchers. do you know which ones are going to Pioneer can not find the first manchester section

Halifax aren't supposed to be getting new buses from else where now, but could change with people saying the old 184 B9's could come over the hills... Who knows!

The other HPU's were transferred from First WY (Halifax) to First Manchester a few months ago. I saw one the other day on a 350 Hey Farm service. I dont know if they are based at Oldham or Pioneer (Dukinfield).

Not sure where to put this but here goes. The Metro web site for today, quite clearly says that the smaller buses for the Hebden Bridge services are no longer available, so does this mean that the Plaxtons have gone or the TLC minibus? www.wymetro.com/travelnews/busalerts/12-06-23HB

I think were keeping those 3 enviros, seen an enviro 400 on Wellington Street next to the stop where the 33A stops opposite Metro offices. It was out of service but interestingly it was sporting Leeds and First in Leeds vynals and had an advert on the back about the A65 bus lane.
