31775 apparent transfer to Halifax from this evening & 31807 seen in Huddersfield. So seems they arent transferring out of WY at the min! Also 30239 is leaving this week to move to Birkenhead so the above transfers is not exactly 100% true!

Suppose we'll have to see how much of that list is actually correct then? Like all good lists it would probably be changed several times before full implementation anyway, so you could call it a guesstimate.

Being speculative, the above post could suggest that some of the Halifax Gemini's earmarked for transfer to Chester/Rock Ferry could now be staying (Well, three at least anyway).

Are all of 36183-280 really going to operate from Hunslet?
Brilliant news for local residents, and quite handy for us being able to locate them so easily. However, it will create a big imbalance in age profiles for different garages' fleets. Besides, I would love First Manchester to run 12-reg E400s on route 184 from Mcr to Huddersfield, and First WY 12-reg Volvo B9TLs on route X6 on to Leeds!

Reported as fact on other forum's Is, First West Yorkshire to get 100 ex-Olympic B9TL/Gemini 2's and First Greater Manchester to get 96 ex-Olympic ALD/E400's. There does not appear to be any E400's earmarked for WY, However GM upon receipt of the E400's are transferring out some of their B9TL/Gemini's which could find their way over here.

Would make sense to send two up to Huddersfield for the 184 given that they did the same thing with 37288 and 37289. Wonder what will happen to them. Return to First Manchester or stay in the First Huddersfield fleet.

There are B9TL's transferring out of Oldham to Dukinfield (Pioneer), Bolton and Wigan depots and possibly some to WY (whereabouts is currently uncertain). It is likely Hudds B9TL's 37288/9, will remain there, as they are currently utilised on any route requiring a LF decker and not just solely on the 184. There is a number of B9TL's at Oldham in the new livery with the revised 180/4 branding just recently applied, therefore it is unlikely they are candidates for transfer. (Although anything is possible with First). As posted above, there is very little likelihood of WY getting any E400's. Any E400's seen at WY depot's will probably be just passing through or used in marketing campaigns etc. Just as an aside, there is now a First Manchester column. Perhaps we'd be better off using that, than risking the wrath of the dedicated WY watchers.
