Perhaps H for Halifax? CK for Calderdale and Kirklees? H for Huddersfield? H is already in use in Huddersfield area for the Holmfirth Locals run by Stotts. I know. I doubt anyone would get on the wrong bus because of that. I was not being entirely serious.

Well they've announced now that the 233 is to become D1 with some morning time changes. From 25 July, there’ll be a new look and better buses for Denby Dale, Clayton West & Skelmanthorpe into Huddersfield… Yorkshire Tiger 233 becomes #DenbyDarts D1. There will be minor time changes of a morning but other times, fares & routes stay the same. More news this week. t.co/JnS75YV65jNot sure if it is just me but i always thoght that 233 was like a main service and could be just known as denby dart rather than a route number like city zap or aire line. But D1 sounds like a small local run like all the K in Keghley which it might be and transdev will know but i just thoght there was more to it

They can't renumber the calderdale services with C's as they'd be confused with school services Of course the 20/21/22 get new numbers every other week so they are well over due another change! Perhaps H for Halifax? CK for Calderdale and Kirklees? H for Huddersfield? The next named routes are seemingly going to be the 435/6 as "Holmfirth Explorer" - so could become HE1 and HE2?? and the Halifax rural routes become "Calder Country" operated with new Mercedes/Mellor minibuses which I'd guess will be CC1, CC2 etc??

I think the Holmfirth routes should be named something to do with Last of the Summer Wine Not really relevant to customers under the age of 30 who've never seen the programme. Surely far better to promote what Holmfirth has to offer today, rather than where a programme was filmed decades ago...

Without Last of the Summer Wine Holmfirth would be a different place and a worse place. Holmfirth still promotes a lot of LOTSW stuff, like the Cafe, and Nora Batty's house experience and the museum.

It should be pointed out that they don’t renumber everything. The Ribble Country, Little Hotline and Rossendale Rovers services that were recently relaunched in Lancashire all have retained/gained run of the mill numbers

But generally speaking core network services do get a 'brand' a la Denby Darts and Holmfirth Explorer both of which I believe will get new numbers. The Calder Country stuff probably won't get new numbers I'd think but will get the new brand identity for the route group.

Seen posts stating that a young fellow in Halifax like the orange buses, so has requested that the vehicles stay orange.

Easily done with TransPennine been a big operator in the area. Links to Yorkshire, Scotland, North West, North East.

It doesn't appear to be. I was hoping you could explain what you're trying to say.

It doesn't appear to be. I was hoping you could explain what you're trying to say. I figured it out. On Alex Hornby’s Twitter account there is a tweet from last week with a screenshot of a remote meeting via Zoom (rather than Microsoft Teams) about Team Pennine, and someone replied to it with a message about an autistic boy who loves orange Yorkshire Tiger buses.

WYIS have announced that 2 ADL Enviro 200s have acquired for Team Pennine Waterloo and have been painted in the Denby Darts livery. They are YX16OBN and ODF.
