it would have helped if announced properly and in the actually October Service changes and not just dropped in a general Leeds Council cluster as even Transdev's 62 tweaks are mentioned It *is* in the Metro October service changes list at wymetro.com/plan-a-journey/travel-news/bus-travel-alerts/leeds-bus-service-change-oct-4-2020/. I don't know exactly when that was published, but I deffo read it several days before this discussion started as I was completely amazed when I saw people questioning the report's credibility. but that is not the general service changes just one for Leeds Council basically

To be fair to Metro, that's not a phrase I thought I'd ever say, when those first changes were publicized there was a line which said that there would be some other changes which operators were still finalising.

Who on Kirkstall Road deliberately goes for the 35 when they have a frequent service? As I already said, those looking for a quieter bus.

The 35 is withdrawn from w/c 4th Oct, the last day of short working operation to Kirkstall Morrisons is tomorrow .(source Metro service changes online) as someone with First connections, I find this another poor commercial decision along with the withdrawal of the 784 , giving commercial advantage to our competitors (Transdev) another piece of WYRCC history down the pan . The registration for this change (which wasn't published on the website until 14th!) actually says "Temporary suspension of service due to Corona Virus". In common with most of the recent changes, this registration expires on 04/01/2021, so we can expect to see a whole bunch of further updates by the New Year.

Arriva are temporarily suspending all their commercial school services from next week, so the buses used can be redeployed on the public network
All these services are currently duplicated by another company, and these will continue to run

Which company is duplicating SW1, SW2 and CL1? I'm guessing Ross Travel are duplicating some of these?

Yes those three are Tiger services, but I included them for completeness as they are also Arriva group commercial services rather than Metro tenders Metro haven’t mentioned that those are being suspended by Tiger though, that just effects Arriva Yorkshire

First West Yorkshire are having to make a number of changes from Monday 2 November
These are driven by a need to reduce some frequencies to reflect their current staffing levels due to the Covid-19 pandemic and to help some routes with social distancing capacity issues.
First Bradford 607, 620/621, 630, 633, 680 and X6.
Changes to 607 times on morning and afternoon journeys. This will provide a 15-min service for the majority of the day. Monday to Friday approximately 10:00 until 15:00 every 12 minutes.
Changes to 630/633 times on morning and afternoon journeys. This will provide a minimum hourly service at peak times and will maintain a half-hourly service for the majority of the day.
On 680 through journeys from Bingley between 0700 and 1900, via Smith Lane instead of Duckworth Lane towards Bradford Interchange.
Revised Timetable on X6, additional journeys at morning and afternoon peak times Monday – Friday, with buses running up to every 7½ minutes.
First Leeds (Hunslet depôt) 27/28, 33/34.
Services 27/28 - will operate every 30 minutes instead of the current 20 minutes
Services 33/34 - minor timetable changes will be occurring with journeys now operating up-to 5 minutes earlier

Majority of these are extensions of current trips or extras. One example is the after 175 trip from Wakefield to Moorbottom Estate (which runs via Outwood Academy) will now have 3 buses with 2 Arriva buses doing the full trip and the duplicate TJ's Travel do from Outwood Academy.

I personally do not get the need to reduce the 27/28 to half hourly. The 28 particularly will just push people towards the 8/X84 and 85 services - the X84 been one that could arrive full for the people who may get the 28 in "normal times". Guess they've got the analysis & figures to prove that it is required.

Yes I’ve noticed that, I think they’ve just lumped in all the services within a group, so there is an extra trip on the 255 which means they’ve said the 254/254A/255/X25 is changing.

I'm confused with the S68 is there 2 S68's now then per journey? One going to Leeds and the other just to Cas Bus Station and Vice Versa plus the normal scheduled 168 run? I'm confused

I'm confused it looks like the s68 will be getting a duplicated if the demands are high on that route. It looks like the extra duplicates on 411 (s11) to & from New College has a high demand too so that will have 2 arriva buses on it and the Ross Travel duplicate as well.
