A couple of footnotes to the Transdev arrangements: - the morning peak service to FERA, and the morning and evening peak services on the X6, will continue to run. - the late-might Saturday services on the 1N, 36 and X43 will not run at all (not even on Saturdays)
Connexions are also running a Saturday service on all routes from next week. I assume that means no service on the X6a or X12.
Moorsbus and Dalesbus will not be running their summer timetable – if restrictions are lifted later in then they might start up at a later date. Dalesbus services that run all year round will continue to run to the winter timetable.
More announcements about emergency timetables across West Yorkshire are expected by next week.

Considering they've just come up with a completely different timetable, that is neither a weekday, saturday or sunday timetable, but a hybrid of all three, and they've done it at short notice. I'd let them off. It isn't as if there are many depots and most are fairly obvious.

I thought it was quite interesting as you can see which depot runs which service and the anomalies, different depots running 1 or 2 services outside the normal e.g Arriva heckmondwike runs one 203 service and Arriva Wakefield run one 189 service

According to the press release, arriva and Yorkshire Tiger are running normal Monday to Friday timetables (that will also operate on Saturday !) on the low frequency routes. A Sunday (hourly) frequency on the main routes (starting early but maybe finishing earlier than normal if there is no evening service)

NYCC not going the extra mile as usual with this less than helpful statement "Temporary Changes To Bus Times From Monday 23 March some services will be operating different service levels to normal and this may change at short notice. Please check with the operator to see if you journey is affected before travelling."

Please check with the operator to see if you journey is affected before travelling." They don't even say what they are doing on the routes they run themselves! For buses running in York and North Yorkshire, I've put together a guide at www.getdown.org.uk/bus/corona, but I don't have info from many of the smaller operators yet. If anyone has a definitive answer that I'm missing then please drop me a line (don't have Abbott's, Dales & District, Hodgsons, NYCC, Olympic, Ryecat or Thornes). Alex Hornby had tweeted this evening that they are going to be significantly reducing services from Tuesday, so the plan to run a Saturday service is only going to last one day! Everything is moving so quickly right now that anything you write down is out of date before you've got the lid back on your pen, that isn't a criticism of Transdev because they were trying to do the best for passengers but it's clear that that level of service is not going to be sustainable. I expect to see other operators like First and Arriva follow suit shortly, at least on their more frequent services.

The downside of reducing services is that whilst it might make whats left viable, in the CV19 circumstances it ideally should be accepting that buses should be no more than a quarter full with every other seating bay barried off and single occupancy of two adjacent seats imposed unless same household members.

Guessing that with PVRs reduced we may see smaller vehicles/single decks used more on routes where bridge weight/height restrictions apply, using the larger vehicles to give capacity on the services that are running and better chance of space between passengers.

Apart from on the 60, Transdev appear to be largely running on Sunday timetables with earlier starts (and weekday finish times) except where routes don't run on a Sunday and they're staying normal. Not surprised the K8 isn't running - although I catch it often, it only serves one stop not served by other routes and rarely has many people on it.

as mentioned earlier, arriva/Yorkshire Tiger are operating hourly services on the main road routes in West Yorkshire, together with a normal Monday to Friday service on the minor routes.
Wondering if first will be following suit?

They haven't mentioned the 412, although as it is a commercial service and isn't factored into the X70 timetable I assume that means it won't be running.
