On the Wharfedale, the hourly service doesn't kick in until after 08:22 from Ilkley and 08:47 from Bradford. The usual times apply until then. Likewise, while the 14:03 from Leeds to Ilkley and 14:40 Ilkley to Leeds are retored, the 07:56 from Ilkley and 08:33 from Leeds are withdrawn. That was the original plan, I take your point that 0651–0823 it's half-hourly from Ilkley, but as noted above for all practical purposes it's an hourly service all day from Bradford Forster Square, with an extra 08:16 train to Ilkley.

18 & 20 August
Timetables are FURTHER restricted, only five services from Leeds are operating, including Sheffield via Moorthorpe, and the York stopper via Garforth.
North Bradford Electrics will only have one train each hour 08:00 –17:30 approximately on each timetable, so that's Bradford Forster Square/Ilkley/Skipton – Leeds each hour, but NO SERVICE at Baildon, NO THROUGH TRAINS Bradford – Ilkley/Skipton.

The reduced service on the North Bradford Electrics is unfortunately resumed in the inter-peak period in the new timetable. The Bradford – Manchester service on Sundays will be doubled to 2 tph for most of the day. The Huddersfield – Cas route will continue to have a limited service but will be a bus. There may be service reductions on other local routes but assuming the current times apply on all routes, apart from those listed below.

* Calder Valley Leeds – Bradford Interchange – Huddersfield: 05:01 ex Leeds WITHDRAWN Chester – Bradford Interchange – Leeds: Sundays ex Chester 09:25 until 20:25. Please note that Sunday trains don't call at Low Moor/Bramley.

TPExpress were supposedly taking up the HUD-CFD services but has since fallen through (probably due to the lack of staff that they have at the minute). Northern were willing to keep the service until December but too late for them to do anything about it.

What so they would run the Class 185s on it or will it be all the way from Manchester Piccadilly? Edit: Hang on wait will they be running faster services along there since Castleford platform 2 will reopen?

Winter timetable change, December 2023.
Details of changes to capacity:
TRIANGLE ROUTES
Bradford – Ilkley/Skipton/Leeds: Some changes in the number of carriages with some services running as 3 carriages instead of 4.
Leeds – Carlisle: From December 2023 until March 2024, services will run as either 2 or 3 carriages for the winter period.
WAKEFIELD LINE (via Outwood)
Doncaster – Leeds: operated by 331/0 sets (3 carriages) instead of the 4-car 331/1 sets throughout the day. Additional carriages will be added to one morning peak service from Knottingley to serve stations closer to Leeds.
Knottingley – Streethouse – Leeds: One service in the morning peak will be extended to four carriages, with an additional call at Outwood to provide extra capacity following changes to the Doncaster route.

Timetable change | December 2023
Winter timetable: train timetables will change on December 10 2023, along with the rest of the National Rail network.
Most Northern services will run at the same level as they do in the current timetable with some slight re-timing of services.
Timetables have been added to online journey planners and are available now.
Details of changes to the timetable:
Penistone line: 17:51 from Huddersfield to Sheffield will be removed.
Huddersfield-Castleford (peak services): We have been advised by Rail North Partnership that TransPennine Express will take over this service to facilitate the TransPennine Route Upgrade diversionary route requirements.
Knottingley – Streethouse – Leeds: One service in the morning peak will have an additional call at Outwood to provide extra capacity following the changes on the Doncaster route.

Oh well I understand the reason though

May I ask what 3 carriage stock the Airedale/ Wharfedale Lines will use? I thought it was just going to be the 4-car sets as present, but there are proposals to run some 2 × 3‐car sets when the platforms are extended, so transferred 331/0 units from the northwest will run as 1 × 3-car sets. Diagrams 831–837 will run with 331/0 stock: Leeds–Doncaster service North Bradford Electrics (5 diagrams) Diagrams 251–263 continue as 333/0 trains: North Bradford Electrics (12 diagrams)

Presumably, 3 car 331's will be moved across from the north west in exchange for 4 car sets going the other way.
The one thing I don't get (particularly how it's described on Northern's site) is how less carriages on Doncaster's releases carriages for Knottingley, given Doncaster uses EMU's and Knottingley DMU's.

3 car 331/0s from the North West are Transferring east with the 4 car 331/1s going west. This is getting ready for running 6 car 331/0s in the future in the Airdale/Wharfedale routes, however Platform extensions and other small bits of work have yet to be completed so they'll run as 3 cars for now.
The Doncaster runs will eventually go over to 333 operation once crews at Doncaster are trained on them

I don't think it's cause and effect – the Doncaster trains are being downgraded to 3-car (presumably to provide more 4-car sets for the north west) and then to compensate for that more carriages being found from somewhere else are being added to the Knottingley trains.

It would be pointless having them stop at Outwood because to Leeds they're just in front of the Sheffield to Leeds stopper and to Knottingley they're just behind the Leeds to Doncaster
